“I loved this place! The staff were friendly and the live music we were treated to music from a great cajun fiddler while we ate! The food was really good too! Delicious gumbo and the shrimp po boy was decent. If I had more time I would have opted for a dozen or more blue crabs that they had to offer, fresh out of the water! It’s really close to the Laurel and Oak Alley Plantations which makes it a great option for anyone going to tour those locations!! Highly recommend it!”

My partner ordered the gumbo and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. I had the fried chicken and fries. My partner summed it up perfectly as we were heading back to NOLA: “It didn’t feel like a restaurant. It felt like we were sitting at someone’s table and mom was cooking in the kitchen.” The service, food, and atmosphere were all truly wonderful!”
