“This is my favorite coffee shop by far! I love staff and service SO much, and I come here everyday. Most staff members know me by name now. This is why it pains me to write this, but I am disappointed. There is one employee named Sydney who ALWAYS messes up my order (the same one I get every single day) and then she always has an attitude about fixing her mistake. For example, I always get a flat lid on my VENTI drinks..and I ALWAYS say it at the speaker. I order my usual, flat lid and venti and I get a big lid in a tall cup? So I simply express that’s not what I ordered and that I needed the bigger size with a flat lid. After this, the lovely window lady tells Sydney the problem and Sydney chose to yell loud enough for me to hear her that “she needs to say that at the box” like excuse me? How unprofessional, wrong, and INCORRECT. Every other order taker is so lovely and even writes my name on the cup because they know my order so well. I expressed to Sydney that I DID state my entire order at the box and she ignored me. Her solution to making my drink the wrong size was to pour the smaller drink into a bigger cup and add ice with more cold foam. This is unacceptable..especially on a Monday morning at 7am. This is the second time Sydney has completely messed up my order and had an attitude about it, thus my review.“

“A Heartfelt Thank You to the Starbucks Staff!!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience at this Starbucks. Based on the google street views and retracing my drive, I think I am writing about the right Starbucks.
I was driving from Katy, TX to NJ, and after starting my trip at 2 AM, I finally stopped in Louisiana around 6:30 AM feeling completely exhausted. I went into the store barely able to keep my eyes open. When the barista asked how I was doing, I told her I was sleepy and needed a strong coffee. She kindly suggested a latte with an extra shot of espresso, which turned out to be exactly what I needed.
I sat down to rest, sipping my coffee and feeling a little more human. As I was getting ready to leave, I went to wash my face, and when I came back, the same barista handed me a small bag of cookies for the road, wishing me a safe trip. It was such a sweet and kind gesture, and I was really touched.
Later on, when I opened the bag somewhere in Tennessee, I found not just cookies, but a mix of nuts & raisins, rice cake, and an energy bar. It felt like a mom making sure her kid had everything they needed to keep going in this situation — such a simple, caring & thoughtful gesture that made all the difference. I couldn’t help but feel grateful, and honestly, a little emotional.
I never got to thank her in person like this, but I’ll never forget the kindness she showed. Thank you for such a moving experience and I wish you well in whatever you do. You made a long, tiring trip just a little bit easier. God bless you!“

“Went there this morning and they did not disappoint. The boudin doughnuts with pepper jelly is the best I’ve had. My wife wants me to drive from Amite again tomorrow for some more. Oh and that turtle coffee was delicious too. Didn’t have to add anything to it and it wasn’t overly sweet. Service was too notice too.“

“The Donut Palace is one of the best donut shops around. This is my 1st time to try their donuts & I thoroughly enjoyed them. The 1st bite was oh so yummy. It has a light crunch on the outside, but the insidqe is oh so soft & together it is a delicious donut. I highly recommend trying them.“
