“Cool, fun environment with great food and friendly staff“

“This is my husband‘s absolute favorite restaurant and honestly it’s one of mine however, today we were deeply disappointed in the customer service. The food was so on point and absolutely fantastic but any special request we made seemed like we were trying to put out the people that worked there even small request like please Can. I have mayo. They asked if they want to charge me for it. Could we have onions with that we’re not sure if we need to charge you for that we had a sandwich that we asked about 1/2 being dressed the other half not being dressed, that was impossible. Honestly, we think this is one of the best places to eat however, customer service it really needs improving. We would recommend this place however we hope to see a change in the attitude of the staff.“

“Massive selection of different Asian dishes had the miso soup king lobster shrimp udon and lovers nest with fried rice amazing prices with dish presentation making you feel like your in a 3 or 4 star restaurant with $200 plates without actually costing a lot at all over all I will be back when I get back through this area.“

“The Service is the best around. The steak has so much flavor and the prices are just right. I recommend for a stop in lunch or a fine dining restaurant in the evening. 5 Stars!

“My husband and I along with our 14 month old grandson stopped in today for lunch. It was a spur of the moment decision, we were passing by and I said it had been awhile since we’d eaten Philay’s, so let’s go eat there before his doctors appointment. I am SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family and were sat quickly. The ladies were so sweet to our grandson, talking about how cute he is and he was even given some fries to tide him over until the food got there. He’s a hungry growing boy for sure!! There was also an older couple seated next to us who were the nicest people. Our grandson LOVES food and lets it be known by how loud he NOM NOM NOM’s his food. He definitely kept them all entertained, they couldn’t get over how loud he was enjoying his French fries 😅😂 It will not be as long until we come back next time because of how welcoming everyone was today. We are SO happy we picked this place, the kibby was crispy and so good, some of the best falafel, and the best grape leaves. “We love Lit pizza, but the Denham springs, La location can NEVER get the online order correct in the evenings. About 4 of us order several times online and every single time one or more of the pizza’s are incorrect. It makes us not want to order out, which we do often as we work evening shifts.“

“This place is great. The food portions were really good, the food was seasoned just right and the service was superb. I was working night shift and woke up later than expected so I called last minute to order a catered meal for 25 people and they pulled it off!! While ordering, I informed the lady that if it couldn’t be done, I would just wait until the next day being it was my fault I called so late but they went above and beyond to make it happen!! Hands down would order from here anytime!!“

The bourbon chicken and rice was a lot.

Will try again to see other entrees. Again, you could easily eat their entree and rice throughout the day and still be full, but flavor was lacking in that too.“

“We order out from Wontons almost once a week, 3 times a month, easy. Food is great or good. This is husband and wife run business and they are the nicest people. This is a not a one time review, this is a 10 year review, since they’ve been open. That should let you know whether I think they’re good or not. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants I don’t like, but this is not one of them. My famly love Wontons. They have great service, hard-working people as well as polite, great and good dishes, every restaurant has some recipes that are better than others, this is no exception. If you’ve had a bad experience, I’m not gonna doubt or dispute it. I’m just gonna say to you I’ve not had a bad experience there in 10 years and we keep going back. If you are a good customer, the wife will even make your banana pudding and give it to you for free.I love the hot and sour soup and hibachi chicken, my wife loves sesame chicken, my son loves the shrimp and lobster sauce but every meal I’ve had there has been at less good, it’s not fair to give them one shot, and then rate it as bad, the restaurant is better than that and the couple work hard to please the patrons.“

“I prefer going here for lunch. The people that run it then seem to have better people skills. My father and I went there around 630pm no one was in line at all. We sat at the counter for about 10 minutes before someone called in an order and then someone walked in after the phone call for a to go order. After she helped him and took the phone order she decided to take our order.The people at lunch focus on the customers at the register and in the dining room first in a first come first serve kind of thing.Either way the food was pretty good. French fries and onion rings were to die for, especially with malt vinegar on the fries! I got the 12 inch pepper steak with no green peppers (just jalapeños) with pepper jack cheese. Brought home half the sandwich and half the small order of fries. The sweet tea was awesome!Highly recommend this place! Maybe the people running it tonight weren't feeling to good, at least the cook was on point. Go here it is incredible!

“I'm in here at least 3 times a month. I like the food and they're always fast and I've never ever gotten a wrong or messed up or forgotten order from them. Only thing is, their card says they're 7 days a week but inside it says they close on Tuesdays. And when you call on Tuesday, you get no recording that says they are closed.“

Very welcoming. Unique menu items and good prices compared to other comparable places. The food was a little too salty and over sauced, the vegetable ratio to food portion was lower than most places, but I feel that they would accommodate special requests for less or more as everything was fresh and great quality.
