“Cool, fun environment with great food and friendly staff“

“Read all the review and was excited to try the restaurant. We were skeptical when we drove up and walked in because we were the only people in the whole restaurant. We ordered eggroll and fried gyoza. Both were made super fast and really good. I ordered hot and sour soup as well. It was scalding hot! Took forever to cool down for me to eat. I ordered the rocky roll and it was good. Was suppose to come with cream cheese but they forgot to put it in it. I was fine either way tbh. Husband got the teriyaki and shrimp. He said it was good but it alot of food… he wished they gave him more chicken on plate. Service was amazing! Very tentative.“

“On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.“

“I absolutely love this tiny slice of fast and delicious Greek & Lebanese food!

It's quaint, efficient, and personable. What's even better is they really care about their customers and their preferences. I always ask for feta and garlic paste on my chicken schwarma wrap, along with removing the tomatoes and onions, and they deliver every time with a smile. I come here so often they've memorized my order and are usually making it as I walk up to the counter.

The lady who makes the garlic paste has also informed me if I call ahead that I can get a pint of the garlic paste because I love it so much (and pregnancy cravings! 😂)

Happy to be a customer of such a great group of people that care about their patrons and the quality of their food. I'm sure as long as this location exists, and I live nearby, I'll be coming here for years to come. ❤️“

“Jambalaya, white beans, Cole slaw. The white beans were Great Northern beans and were pretty bland. Good cole slaw and very good chicken and sausage jambalaya. Order at counter and take a number. Was busy when I was there but the order came up quickly. Big open seating area not fancy but plenty of room for large parties and I ate alone at a small table for two. I noticed that they offered lunch specials.“

“My husband and I along with our 14 month old grandson stopped in today for lunch. It was a spur of the moment decision, we were passing by and I said it had been awhile since we’d eaten Philay’s, so let’s go eat there before his doctors appointment. I am SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family and were sat quickly. The ladies were so sweet to our grandson, talking about how cute he is and he was even given some fries to tide him over until the food got there. He’s a hungry growing boy for sure!! There was also an older couple seated next to us who were the nicest people. Our grandson LOVES food and lets it be known by how loud he NOM NOM NOM’s his food. He definitely kept them all entertained, they couldn’t get over how loud he was enjoying his French fries 😅😂 It will not be as long until we come back next time because of how welcoming everyone was today. “There have been several South of Philly restaurants around Baton Rouge over the years. Glad this one is carrying on the tradition. Service is excellent as is the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I love their onion rings and they have alot of other sides“

“Ruffino’s is just a great place all around. The food’s always spot-on, the drinks are excellent, and the service is hard to beat. Everyone there is friendly, quick, and makes you feel welcome every time.

My wife loves the Bubble Bath — it’s one of her favorites — and I usually go for the Old Fashioned made with Blanton’s. The fish Katie’s is my go-to, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The specials are always solid, especially if you catch the butter steak — that one’s amazing.

It’s one of our favorite places to go for birthdays, anniversaries, or just when we want a really good meal in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Ruffino’s.“

That said, I’ve heard a lot of people rave about their seafood and the rack of lamb, so if I go back, it’ll definitely be to try the rack of lamb. The place has a good reputation, so I’m willing to give it another shot.“

“We order out from Wontons almost once a week, 3 times a month, easy. Food is great or good. This is husband and wife run business and they are the nicest people. This is a not a one time review, this is a 10 year review, since they’ve been open. That should let you know whether I think they’re good or not. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants I don’t like, but this is not one of them. My famly love Wontons. They have great service, hard-working people as well as polite, great and good dishes, every restaurant has some recipes that are better than others, this is no exception. If you’ve had a bad experience, I’m not gonna doubt or dispute it. I’m just gonna say to you I’ve not had a bad experience there in 10 years and we keep going back. If you are a good customer, the wife will even make your banana pudding and give it to you for free.I love the hot and sour soup and hibachi chicken, my wife loves sesame chicken, my son loves the shrimp and lobster sauce but every meal I’ve had there has been at less good, it’s not fair to give them one shot, and then rate it as bad, the restaurant is better than that and the couple work hard to please the patrons.“

We had a crew so quite a big order of beef and broccoli, general tso chicken, kung pao chicken, vegetable mei fun, spare ribs, wonton soup, crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the kung pao chicken and vegetable mei fun which were both very flavorful. I usually need to add soy sauce to mei fun, but not this one. The rangoons had the imitation crab meat in them, not just cream cheese. Definitely going to be my go to take out spot from now on.“

“The food here is incredible. Shame that its so hidden in a badly positioned strip mall where it cant get good exposure. The bbq eal 'Eal Una Ju' is first class. I also love how they give you a generous serving of Miso soup, which is also one of the best I've had. Also, a very nice portion of house salad on the side too, which even has pineapple pieces in it to give it a personal touch. I usually Uber food from here, but I once did pick up. Little did I know entering this place I would not only find a good meal but I would also find great friends as well. Instantly I felt like I was an old friend returning back home hanging out at the local restaurant.
