I had the Red Beans and Rice with Sausage and the Greens. Unbelievable! The Greens were incredible. Sweet and savory at once.

My daughter had the smoked wings. Excellent! The Green beans and Mac & cheese were awesome.

My son had the stewed chicken over rice WOW!

My wife had the fried chicken breast with creamed mashed potatoes. So good!

Huge portions and friendly no frills casual atmosphere.

“All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! Hands down one of if not the best BBQ place I have ate at. I got the lg rib plate with the add on chicken wings and my husband got the 1/2 chicken and we shared to try it all and man when I say it was amazing it was amazing. The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.“

Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“Smoking Aces catered a large event for my group. The food was delish. Pulled chicken was moist and tender. The sauce barely made it to the end of the line. Next time I will order more! “0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. And the seafood cheese sauce? Oh man was it good! I didn’t even think to take pictures.
