“All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! Hands down one of if not the best BBQ place I have ate at. I got the lg rib plate with the add on chicken wings and my husband got the 1/2 chicken and we shared to try it all and man when I say it was amazing it was amazing. The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.“

“Yes yes yes. I finally was able to sit down and eat here while I was in town and it’s 10/10. I came on a Sunday when they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but of course I had to get some sides to try. My favorites were the smothered green beans and potatoes and pickle cheese (enough to where I’d get those every time I come in if they’re on the menu). Also, those ✨wings✨ omg. They’re habanero pineapple white BBQ wings, but don’t be scared - they’re not overly spicy. I’d say they’re more smoky than spicy. So good. The smothered okra and pot roast were also flavorful and delicious.

The restaurant itself has a very retro/vintage vibe that I think goes really well with the homemade cooking, and the service is very good. I was able to bring my favoritest boy (my dog Cashew) onto the back patio where we enjoyed a late lunch. I’ll be back!“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. “Pulled pork and jerk bbq sauce were delicious. The jerk bbq sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten (so far). Customer service is lacking, my takeout order wasn’t received and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. I wouldn’t recommend this location based upon the customer service but I do recommend the jerk bbq sauce.“

“Pretty chill spot. Wasn't very busy on a Tuesday evening before a Pelicans game. It's a 10-minute walk if you're here for a Saints or Pelicans game. Food and beer were decent. Turkey was spot on Dirty Rice wqs better than velveta sheels and cheese. I tried their Pilsner called Fess which has heavier taste, similar to a Budwieser. Their BBQ sauce had a slight spice to it, but slapped pretty good. The mustard and vinegar not up my alley so that's gonna be a no for me dawg. Old school games available to play, but it's kinda pricey. Worth a stop even if it's just for a snack amd drink.“

“Everything I've had so far has been great. A lot of places that serve smoked meats tend to over cook leaving you with bones that splinter apart and dry meat. Not Ribmaster! I've tried the chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage and hot wings and EVERYTHING has been cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back.“

Vegetarian options: Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Fries were okay but nothing special. I hope they get their brocoli salad and caesar salad in the future.

The tots are seasoned and drenched in cheese and jalapeños are to die for!!Only thing I would recommend urgently is that the place needs a deep cleaning. I know it’s a lot of fried food so the oil residue is everywhere and visible by look and touch.“
