“I wish I had tried this place sooner! Cozy on the inside, very friendly staff, and the food--YUM. Had a lunch date here and split a salad, panini, and a pizza. Meant to save room for cheesecake but guess that's just a reason to come back sooner. The bread is unreal and I could eat the quattro formaggi pizza everyday for the rest of my life <3Thank you so much, see you soon!“
“Food was excellent. Service wonderful. We were seated out on the balcony and it was very chilly. Was disappointed that the chef made his rounds greeting people in the dining room but made no effort to visit the customers braving the cold on the balcony.“
“Nice little place tucked away from the busy city. Warm and inviting, staff was excellent. Some of the best Italian food I've had in a very long time. Usually avoid Italian restaurants because I'm used to getting olive garden type food. This was far from it! Will go back.“
“Place doesn’t look like much from the outside but on the inside it was amazing. Very first class Italian restaurant for 2nd class money. Every little touch was perfect from the bread to the meatballs and spaghetti! I would highly recommend for any person looking for a first class Italian restaurant in Mandeville!“
“Arrived in Covington LA, while camping after exploring the cajun area, went looking for another Boil. Found this gem on Google. Hubby and I stopped in a little confused gal at register gave us 2 cups and menus suggested we review menus and return to register when ready to order. while trying to decipher the what some items were. a very kind gentleman stopped by table inquired if we needed anything and made some suggestions, got our drinks even though normally self serve, took our order. hubby ended choosing alligater sausage pasta(swamp pasta) I reddish with crawfish cream sauce. Yum on both dishes.Deffinately commItted to return we're salivating on a boil, and they have a platter we want to try. privately owned our nice gentleman was the owner. thank you fr Iowa wished we had you in Des Moines“
“Yummy! I love Olive Garden. You can't go wrong with Italian when you've got picky family members (myself included)! I often have a hard time finding something that suits my preferences on most restaurant menus, but Olive Garden always has lots of delicious options. They have new dipping sauces for the breadsticks and I highly recommend the five cheese marinara dipping sauce. Our server, Jojo, was very gregarious and attentive. He must have read my mind when he asked if my pasta needed a bit more sauce because I was thinking it but didn't plan on saying anything about it because I didn't want to be "that person." He was a real sweetheart and he treated my sister, my grandmother, and me well. I'll definitely want to come here again the next time I'm in Louisiana visiting family.“
“I had eggplant parmesan. Plenty of food but gravy was really thick & slightly bitter with very little cheese on top. Service was good.Others said it was good, but one ate meatballs and spaghetti.Kid-friendliness: Kids meal was fine but they did not eat very much. That is not uncommon so I doubt it was anything to do with the taste.Nice big booth to keep kids from getting up and down from a chair. Kids were 4 and 5.“
“Great spot for consistently good Italian food. Portions are huge so you can definitely split a meal here. Very good local seafood dishes like fried soft shell crab (in season) and nightly fish specials. My favorite is their tomato cream sauce.“
“Sat at the bar for a date night. We started with the pear cocktail & the Italian margarita. The pear cocktail was great but we weren't a fan of the margarita. However, the food was INCREDIBLE. First let's talk about the warm bread & butter. The bread had a little crunch on the outside & was soft and chewy on the inside. The butter was great as well. I loved that my husband and I both received our own butter dish so we had plenty! We started with the meatball appetizer. So flavorful and delicious. I'm not usually one to order meatballs as an app but I'm so glad we did! For our entrees, we ordered the lobster pasta and the redfish picatta. Both EXCELLENT. Plenty of huge chunks of lobster in the pasta. The redfish was topped with lots of crab and the sauce was to die for. Still dreaming about our meal and can't wait to go back!“
“Excellent food reminds me of where my mama worked @ Manales for 58 years as waitress. Thier Italian food reminds me of growing up . Would highly recommend but make reservations!!!! Much love for wonderful salad dressings and sauces in groceries!! But nothing compares to going out to eat at Sal & Judy's“
