Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Lake Charles

“Never have chicken available when we go there. They ALWAYS have to cook some chicken. Then that be a small amount cause when its time to fill my order, they run out of mild chicken and we have to wait 15 more minutes for a drop to cook. Also, the fries be cold or hard“

“My husband & I stopped here today (5/23/2026) for little late lunch. & the crew that is working is awesome. They are pulling there own weight.💯

I'm making this review bcuz of one person. She was running the register inside. We seen she was busy so instead of rushing her, my husband left his phone in the truck & we went out to get his phone & the lady (I don't know her name or I would be using her name) came chase us down outside bcuz she didn't want us to leave without eating.

My husband & I have visited several Popeyes & other establishments & this was the first time, an employee made sure a customer ate first & offered some type of explanation as to why it was taking her a minute to take our order.

We all started laughing & we told her, we was just getting his phone out the truck but when she came running outside after us, she had the biggest smile saying, I will come chase you down lol.

She most definitely needs a raise & to be recognized as an outstanding employee for her great customer service & hard work. She was doing so many things at one time.

She was the absolute best, as well as all the other employees that were working today (5/23/2026 @ around 1pm). They were on there (excuse my language) shit!💯

I will definitely be coming eat here when I'm in Lake Charles, La.

“The store was ridiculously busy and I waited a few extra minutes to order at the intercom. However, once I reached the drive thru window my cashier whom when I asked her replied that her name was Victoria greeted me with the most welcoming smile and even asked how my day was. She apologized for the inconvenience and even offered drinks for my children while we waited which made the wait less stressful. Her store manager over heard her apologizing so he offered to drop everything fresh for us. Due to their determination and pleasant customer service skills I didn't mind the wait. The food was fresh and delicious.“
