Starbucks in Lake Charles

“I love coming here to study! Obviously Starbucks itself is great, but the atmosphere here specifically is perfect! The employees are so friendly and kind always and it has the best vibe. The music is always on point. For sure my favorite study spot!“

“I had such a genuinely kind experience at Starbucks today. It was raining, and as I was leaving with my order, I accidentally bumped into the door and dropped my drink. I didn’t know what to do and was honestly a bit embarrassed I just picked up the cup and was about to walk away.

But the staff went above and beyond. Two employee outside saw what happened and immediately stepped in to help. At the same time, a barista from inside came running out to remake my drink without me even asking. Two employees offered me a wet cloth to clean the spill on my clothes, took the broken cup from my hand, threw it away, and made sure I was taken care of.

Their kindness and quick response really stood out. It wasn’t just good customer service it felt genuinely caring. Experiences like this are why I keep coming back.“

“This is a new location so we are very happy that Jennings finally has a Starbucks! My daughter and I were about to travel out of town so we stopped for gas and then drinks at Starbucks. We were both very pleased with what we ordered. I am assuming because they are newly opened it's a bit harder to forecast sales and therefore hard to determine how much inventory to order or they were just way more busy than they forecasted since they were out of a few items that they were out of. They were able to make our order anyway and we got our drinks and went on our way. Service was awesome and quick!“

“This is hands down my favorite Starbucks in the Lake Charles area! Troy is the best!! He’s very welcoming, I feel like I’m home when I visit. I’m always met with a smile by all of the staff! I remember a time when they didn’t have oat milk one day and were very apologetic about it and gave me the option of using almond instead— as a consolation, I was given a cake pop, how thoughtful! They’ve fixed several coffees that were previously bought from the Prien Lake location due to being in proximity to it at the time. I haven’t been disappointed. I do hope people who’ve had a less than satisfactory experience give them another try!“

“I really enjoy stopping by here whenever I need a reliable cup of coffee and a quick place to sit down for a while. The drinks are always consistent and the staff is usually pretty quick even when it gets really busy during the morning rush. It is a solid choice when you are on the go and need something familiar that you know you are going to enjoy.“
