“We had Saturday afternoon lunch and it was great! Our server Rhett was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with us, as first time guests. The Mahi-mahi was fabulous, the catfish was the best we’ve ever had and the onion sticks are superb. To top it off, we tried the Peanut Butter pie and were quite impressed! This restaurant is worth the trip to Des Allemands, LA!“

“My only regret is not finding this spot sooner! I'm in town a few times a month and just happened to drive by and stop today. First off the waitress (Mrs. Lisa) was amazing! Super friendly and sweet! drink never ran out before I had another sitting beside it. I ordered the fried craw claws and the swamp platter. It was all cooked fresh and came out very quick. Seasoning was on point! very large portions (no chance you're leaving hungry) This is the first restaurant in the area I give a 10 out of 10. let's face it most NOLA restaurants rush food in and out and season just enough to get by because of the tourists! I'll be seeing you again Mrs. Lisa! (side note her husband is also a Dolphins fan so make that 11 out of 10 stars)“

“Smittys has been my go to crawfish place for as long as i can remember! Their boiled seafood is #1! Friendly staff & fast service makes coming here 10000% better! 10/10 recommend! Appetizers: stuffed shrimp 10000% Not feeling crawfish? Soft shelled crab plate is the best!!“

I had the 12 inch cheeseburger poboy with swiss, dressed, and onion rings. Ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Don't expect a tiny sub, it's a full 12" and on french bread not a hoagie roll. It's hefty.“

“Highly recommend coming here. The food was great, especially the crab cakes. The beer was cold. There were at least 8 birthdays while we were there including my buddy Johns. They brought us out some bread with a dump truck full of powder on it. A great place to spend your birthday. Staff was super nice and attentive. In the bathroom they were bumping R&B which really sets the mood. All in all, a 10/10 experience“

“This was my first time here and it was amazing! The bbq ribs fell off the bone and the collard greens were flat out delicious!! I would definitely recommend! The portions are great for the price too. The staff was really friendly and the service was fast. It is cash only so bring some with you, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Absolutely incredible! The staff made us feel like we were family and that we were the most important people in the world. I'm not kidding about that last statement... they were awesome! The Chef, Joe Boudreaux, was extremely personable and truly enjoyed talking about his passion, cooking. The food was fantastic... boudin egg rolls, the spicy fried oyster appetizer, the Montecristo, and the pork belly wedge were all so delicious. My advice is to take a little road trip to St. Rose and eat some of the best food and meet some incredible folks.“
