“Jenny and her staff did an amazing job on our cake for our baby shower! We did a cake tasting and Jenny was so helpful with decor ideas and flavors. We tried a few different flavors and it was so hard to pick just one! We will be back for those Tiramisu cupcakes because they were out of this world! The cake delivery was executed so perfectly, it actually made it to the venue before I did! Everyone LOVED the cake and I had everyone asking what bakery I used. We will be using Sweet Life for all our events going forward!!“

HOWEVER, I ordered two cakes last year, and neither one had a baby in it. THIS YEAR was the same! No BABY!!! Are they saving money by not putting the babies in the cakes? I don't know. “Omg!!! Those round cookies ???yum I bought two containers at the fall foodies festivities and each container had about 10 cookies I think. My family practically inhaled them there was nothing left within seconds. They are sweet but not overpowering sweet and they just dissolve in your mouth a small and delicious treat.“

“I had a gift card for a medium Kingcake; but it wasn't Kingcake season anymore. The manager allowed me to chose its that would equal the price if the kingcake. I chose from a beautiful assortment of single size pastries from the glass case. Everyone one of them was delicious. Our group of 7 cut them & tried a piece of more than one for dessert. Everyone was smiling & happy with Maurice's pastries for dessert. I had a palm sized: terramisu, strawberry shortcake, chocolate, lime pie, & one more that I can not recall right now. All were excellent. The staff was kind & helped me patiently.

“Not only is this the BEST king cake I’ve ever had (and I’ve literally had ALL the big names), their customer service is unmatched (I went to the Gretna location)! I online ordered a traditional king cake for pick up about 4 days ahead of time and when I arrived, it was ready and waiting for me! I drove out of state 1.5 hours to get their king cake too! They had a wonderful employee, Kala (I hope I’m spelling it correctly), who was not only checking people out, but also going out to the line to update customers! I also wanted a Queen cake that I was unable to order online like the other, but y’all, this bakery literally took my order while I was in line and BAKED IT! Now yes, I had to wait a while, BUT, if you’re familiar with most big king cake establishments, once they’re out, they’re just out. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in line, how far you came, none of that. But at Antoine’s, Kala literally wrote down the name of each person in line by 6:00 pm (closing time) and what king cake type and size they wanted, baked it, and assured everyone in that line received one! I’ve NEVER seen anything like it! I think there had been a bit of a hold up because a vendor in a big van picked up a TON of King cakes, but I was literally blown away that not one person in that line by closing time was turned away and told they were just sold out for the day. I left the most impressed and will definitely be back!“
