“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

“The waiter who served us was an older gentleman, and he was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. He talked with us, shared his story, and made the experience truly enjoyable. The food is excellent, one dish is enough for two people because the portions are very large. Everything was outstanding. The atmosphere is very calm, with music and a pool table. I give it a 100/10. I truly wish we had a place like this in Texas. 🥰❤️“

“Food was beyond perfect. Service was excellent. Owner Ben is an amazing man with a great establishment and recipe, family owned and operated. I tried the Big Ben burger and was beyond satisfied. The chili fries were an amazing touch, and the Fries Sauce was fantastic on the monstrous burger. The bacon slices and patty meat were each grilled to perfection. The fries were the perfect balance of crispy, thin, and chewable; absolutely beyond fantastic on that part. The chicken nuggets were quality over quantity, which is something that is VERY important. We mentioned it was our first time there, and we were given a nice surprise: a paper boat full of their famous Funnel Cake Fries! These were absolutely delicious, and a very welcoming bonus for an already great first-impression of the restaurant. I would like to additionally add that sometimes food from a restaurant or takeout place will make me feel awful or that greasy-feeling inside your intestines after digestion. This place I still feel great after eating the food, and I don’t feel that awful after-effect. That’s how you know the food is made with LOVE and not all of the processed garbages that most would prefer to use. Ben’s stands out from the rest. I drove all the way from Houma, LA just to try the burger, and let me just say that the trip was BEYOND worth it. Ben’s Burgers are a true treat and a hole-in-the wall experience. “Great spot, one of my absolute favorites in NOLA. Meghan is incredible and always takes good care of my group when I’m in! I also went for the first time on a Friday afternoon recently and found out that they make a special lemon garlic butter that they put on steaks and stuff, only available on Fridays. I ordered a tuna steak and they put that on there, oh my. Will definitely be back for lunch next time I’m in town.“

“Came to Stallion bar last Friday for a Karaoke night. Absolutely great location, the horseshoe-shaped bar, decorations, pool tables, drink selections (Long Drink) were all great. The wife had a tequila soda and even though I typically hate them, I didn't hate this one. Friendly, fun, and fixed my famish“

and mocktail!
The Steak Tartare and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice are some of our faves and the Timesaver was an inventive and delicious drink.
I liked that the Staff had great recommendations and the Manager made us feel really welcome and checked to make sure everything was good.
I have not made Happy Hour yet but def on my radar because it goes til 6pm and also Bingo Night looks like a good time to break up the work week monotony.“

“Every time we visit the New Orleans area, we look for a new restaurant to try apart from the same old "tourist" places. We happened upon Freakshake Cafe tonight. The Muffaletta and Po' Boys were delicious (especially the Italian Beef) and the portion sizes are HUGE (Get the small, trust me!) We even treated ourselves to some Freakshakes. (If you're into over the top dessert experiences, this is definitely for you.) Chef Bob is so friendly and personable. He made sure that every step of our dining experience exceeded our expectations. We went on a saturday at 4 pm and there was available tables.

They give a sheet with games and crayons to the kids. The place is cold, we have to put jackets.

The place is clean, the bar looks good to see games.

We ordered pizza with fries and with mozarella sticks to thr kids. Lemonade, beer and a chicken parmesana with pasta. Everything was very good.

The people very kind.
