“This is a family diner type of place that offers your regular “home cooking” meals, delicious burgers & also local favorites, such as corn shrimp chowder, which is my personal favorite. Shrimp poboy, onion rings, shrimp baskets… everything is really good. Service however is spotty. Our orders were missing fries and onion rings. I saw one of the cooks eating while handling people’s meals. On the positive note, staff were polite and laid back, even though not very efficient. There are not too many sit down places in the area that offer local flavors and despite the issues, we think this is the best sit down restaurant in the area.“

“Food is always fresh. Absolutely delicious.I do want to comment on a very important topic , tht I look for wherever I eat out atCleanliness is very important to me.And. I will say.. This subway is immaculate. No matter what time you go in. It is super clean. Smells so clean when you walk in. Food bar is also very clean . Always wiped clean of prior use.And. “In the past this subway wasn't great but after thr last few times of revisiting it has been clean and I haven't had any issues with the making of my sub. The only things I could think about complaining about would be the sweet tea is hit or miss but it's like that at a lot of places, and sometimes they are out of chocolate chip cookies which just means they have business!Everyone is complaining about their subs are messy etc etc. Give people grace. Subway workers are paid minimum wage last time I checked. Fast food workers are doing a job that's still contributing to society and they have to deal with rude customers probably all the time. Sanitation reasons are valid but they have always used gloves around me. Complaining about they put too much sauce, okay, if I do not want too much sauce I specify " just a little bit of mayo" and they do a small line and ask if that's enough.It is a good subway, and also it's not the workers or the managers decision to accept or not accept coupons, idk if that's still going on. If you have a problem then contact the actual franchise owner and complain. Don't take it out on the workers just trying to get paid like everyone else.“

“I normally have a difficult time getting a sandwich from subway, but these girls are on the ball. I have never had a more pleasant experience at a subway shop. Friendly, fast and delicious. I will never go to any other store in New Iberia. Awesome.“
