I went here today to try since I haven't been. My friend and I sat at the bar. Hate that I didn't get his name but the guy behind the bat was so friendly and provided top notch customer service! We ordered the limeade, which was freshly made and was so good. I ordered the birria, chicken mole, and crane asada tacos. My favorite by far was the chicken mole. It had a sweet taste to it and I added the spicy salsa! Definitely will be going back to try more food.
Went to El Cucuy on a Tuesday and to our surprise it was empty. We had a short wait in the line but the server offered to take our order in line if we were ready. Neither my friend or myself tried this place before so we opted to just wait to place the order. The person taking the orders attitude could have been better but she could have possibly had an off day. The seating area is very dark but it doesn't mess with the vibe. So glad I finally tried this Mexican spot! My Yelp BFF and I love Mexican food and this place has been on our list for some time now. Very cute vibe and a nice ambiance. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place to hang when the weather is nice. You order your food and drinks at the bar and they will bring it you.
