Oh my gosh I bought a box as a souvenir to share with the family. All the pralines I have ever had have been too sugary and hard. Miss Loretta’s Pralines are better than chocolate and her Praline Stuffed beignets are better than the “other very popular place!” I also love the Jesus signs!! I wish I would have bought more!

Loretta's Authentic Pralines is set in a historical market environment. The beignets are definitely the best in New Orleans, fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best. They are pricey though at $9 for 3 pieces and the wait was about 45 minutes on a Monday morning, but it is worth the wait every single time. The praline beignets were absolutely delicious, and the crab beignets were just as amazing. The pralines were fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious, with so many great flavors to choose from. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The service was warm and fast, with friendly staff. Note: bring cash just in case, card machine was down when we went. Miss Loretta did not disappoint in terms of authentic flavor and friendliness. A perfect sweet treat while exploring New Orleans, definitely a must-try and a must stop spot whenever in New Orleans.
