“We came here looking for halal options. We ordered cheese pizza slice and wings. The wings were really good, especially the sauce they came with. I loved it. The salesman was very friendly and helped us with our order. However, the shop was quite crowded, and when we asked for extra sauce, they couldn’t provide it. As you walk in and see that beautiful view of New Orleans across the river, and you see that beautiful pizza oven as you walk in, you know your in for a treat. Me and my bud started off with mozzarella sticks, and the marinara sauce was fire. The Neapolitan style pizza with the traditional tomato sauce is so good! My buddy is an pepperoni enthusiast and he really loved it. The bubbles on the crust, the texture, the right combination of crust and sauce, all outstanding! The Salciccia was a new Poblano sauce experience for me. It was kind of pesto like, and paired so perfectly with the Italian sausage and Taleggio cheese. New Orleans has become the premier pizza city of the south. And one of the best anywhere period! Nola proud, this place rocks!“

The lunch special is a great price 12.99 for half a sammich and salad. My sammich was so so good. Bread was crispy but also soft inside. Dont remember which one I got, but it had walnuts and eggplant and was delicious. I got it with a side of pesto and also had the king cake cocktail which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Was walking by, heard some good jamming going on, saw people having fun. Stopped in. Had a drink. Listened to a few songs and was on my way to the next venue that some think sucks. Drink was fine. Bartender was friendly.

“OMG!!! I came to this place on a whim this morning. This is the best food I have had from a cafe joint in a very long time. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a Salad and it was DIVINE! Well cooked, nicely seasoned. A pleasant Saturday surprised. I highly recommend this small cafe on St. Claude, located a block from Fredrick Douglass High School. Oh, and the vibes are heavenly.
