Sucré is a renowned luxury patisserie in New Orleans, known for its French-inspired desserts. The shop itself is beautiful, welcoming, and spotless, with desserts displayed like little works of art. The customer service is top tier, with one of the nicest employees ever allowing a guest to charge a wheelchair. The espresso & dark chocolate gelato is rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The chocolate chip cookie was made with mini chips and consistent chocolate goodness throughout. Other desserts include the Peanut Butter Dome, the S’mores bar, and macarons. While the flavors are delicious and the experience is wonderful, the price is a bit steep. Portions are very small, and a total of $32 for a few items felt steep. The pricing makes it hard to justify a return visit for some, but for others, it is a must-stop for anyone who loves chocolate or desserts. Sucré has several locations in New Orleans, including on Royal Street and Magazine Street.
