The Rum House offers a welcoming atmosphere and great staff. The tropical-inspired drinks, such as the Key Lime & Coconut Rum Punch, are a highlight. The tacos are packed with flavor, especially the jerk chicken, and the "Damn Good Nachos" topped with pulled pork or jerk chicken are highly recommended. The food is so good that it has been described as some of the best in New Orleans this summer. The server was amazing, providing excellent service, and the overall experience includes good drinks, good prices, and a lively vibe. Located right on Magazine Street with optional outdoor seating, it’s a great choice for a relaxed dining experience with amazing food. The redfish is outstanding—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor—and the crab balls are delicious, made with real crab. The ribs are tender and flavorful, falling off the bone. The guacamole is super fresh, served with warm, crispy chips made in-house. The drinks, especially the Hurricanes, are strong, smooth, and dangerously good. Overall, The Rum House is a must-visit in New Orleans for great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere.
