My family and I enjoyed a delightful day at the zoo the other day, marred only by the horrifying experience in the Zoofari Cafe. The food preparation staff in particular were woefully unprepared for the simple task in front of them to find out what the people who were there to patronize their establishment wanted, cook it and deliver it promptly.There couldn't have been a half dozen customers, yet it took almost an hour to get us a simple order. Excellent food considering this is a zoo cafe. Prices were high, as to be expected, but the pizza and chicken strips were fresh, hot, and delicious. They did not taste like reheated frozen food, which was my expectation. The staff was working to keep the tables clean and there was a great view of the playground.
