“Ate here for the first time just now. The lady who waited on us was super sweet. We had the crab cakes and pasta. Excellent!! A neat little place! Ended with a malt that was great! I recommend!!”

“One of the best buffets anywhere. Crabs, shrimp, frog legs all very good. Crabs were not huge, but they were full. Sushi, Chinese items all good quality for a buffet. Price was very good as well, 100% will return.

Parking: Plenty of room behind plus was able to park truck w/ boat and trailer on the side of the building with easy access back to highway.”

“This is my absolutely favorite Mc Donald when going out of town knowing im going this direction it is a must stop for me. i have visited this McDonald a few years now at least twice a year they have an awesome staff always.A few years back i was traveling with my son and grandkids we were starving and stopped at this location they were closing so we turned to leave and the manager came and invited us in even though they were closing i fidnt want to hold them up but she was sp nice insisted we come in they cooked our food served us talked with us it was great it meant the world to me i was tired hungry and ready to find a bed an sleep. i always stop an it amazes me how no matter the shift how friendly and welcoming the staff is how they will go the extra for there huest its always very clean food is always hot i cant say enough about the staff i always wonder if they have the same staff over the years or is it just that friendly of an area i mean it is La it also says a lot about the management theredoing something right happy employees means happy guest i whole heartely recommend you stop at this McDonald over the years i have given up on Mc Donalds but this location and other i look forward an plan a stop when traveling in these 2 location areas again i want to thank management and staff for your outstanding customer service it is always a great experience incidently i have been in hospitality business for 45 years as a hourly and mNagement started at bottom an went as far as i could up the ladder and i can assure you im watching everything when visiting this location get. 10 out of 10 from me Thank you management and staff you are the best”

“My family and I visited relatives in Luling, LA, and found this little gem! Black owned, professional service with great food! Owner Jae is amazing! Customer service is top notch and it’s so appreciated! We wanted a home cooked meal as we were so tired of the regular restaurant food from on the road traveling! Everything was really good! We had baked chicken, baked fish, smothered pork chops, delicious green beans, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and only God knows what else!😍”

“I do love this place but 😭 randomly getting black olives instead of the usual Kalamata olives in a pick up bowl was… surprising lol. I would have rathered it not been in there. It also seems impossible to get tabbouleh in my bowl. I’ve gotten in maybe once in all of my orders. I’m only leaving 5 stars because I return for the steak. It’s 5 star worthy.”

“We had Saturday afternoon lunch and it was great! Our server Rhett was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with us, as first time guests. The Mahi-mahi was fabulous, the catfish was the best we’ve ever had and the onion sticks are superb. To top it off, we tried the Peanut Butter pie and were quite impressed! This restaurant is worth the trip to Des Allemands, LA!”

“So overall I love the food here. Never had a problem until today (unfortunately today was the wrong day to set me off). There are 2 condiments/toppings I can not stand and will ruin anything I eat because you can’t just wipe it off and that Sour cream and MUSTARD!!!!! I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. And it wasn’t a little mustard. The bun was SOAKED with it. Call them and wanted me to come back in so they could remake it while the rest of my family’s can eat theirs. I’m glad they didn’t put it on my 6yrs olds burger!!!!”

Mine is Creole Stuffed Eggplant!! The owners, staff, chef, and atmosphere add to the enjoyable dining experience!! I pray they are eventually able to bring back Sunday brunch!!”

“True to their sign, they really are the best bloody Mary's you will find anywhere! Felt a little out of place, like the second we walked in you could hear a pin drop as the small crowd of people inside all stared judgmentaly at us. The bar tender however wasn't rude, but also wasn't very hospitable either. I've been here more than a dozen times on my way down to dularge, and the only thing that keeps me returning are the bloody marys. I just get em then go!”
