“I’m on the PTO for a large school here in Pineville.We celebrated teacher appreciation today with a camping theme lunch that featured poboys. The po boys was a complete hit. AB and the rest of the staff there were a pleasure to deal with even when I called last minute to add a vegetable poboy to my order. They even sent plates and Napkins with our order they went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank them enough for helping us show the staff how appreciated they are.“

“My wife and I drove here 15 minutes from an overnight stay at a local RV park. This particular Sunday evening there was a buy 1 sushi roll and get one of equal value or less at 50% off. The sushi rolls were decent for a sushi place in Pineville Louisiana. I ordered the stuffed salmon with vegetables and a salad. The salad was a typical iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and croutons with bottled dressing options. The grilled salmon was tasty and seasoned but a little dry. All in all a good meal at a fair price.“

“Wildwood is our weekly go-to. Location is perfect. Pepperoni and The Hawaiian are our favs. Consistent recipes, perfect portion sizes, polite staff, great business hours, quick service, delicious food, variety of beer/wine options, relaxed ambiance, Celiac friendly, bakery next door! We like to bring our pup to have a nice dinner every Friday, but with it being Lent we aim for the Monday night special. The staff have ALWAYS offered to bring out a water bowl. “I never leave five star reviews because no place is perfect. But this place is the exception. I don't know the chefs, but they cook food that ruins every other restaurants' food. I've eaten in many states and five countries, but this place is my favorite. The staff (shout out to Chris, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Treyvon, and the rest) are mind-blowing in how far they go. “I love the hole in the wall places and this is just that. Yes they do have a full restaurant this is a little shop about the size of a food truck. They have a drive through and you can walk in. It is as the British say take away. The food is true southern cooking fantastic. They do give samples of the cracklins chicken and pork. You will get both they are so good.“

It was still good. Service was super fast except for receiving the check but the server was nice. “Ms. Rachel was our waitress and cocktail provider. She was so friendly. The hummus she recommended for our starter really kicked off the meal. Her drinks were delicious and refreshing. Her cucumber Gin and Tonic was a sparkling surprise that went really well with my perfectly barely seared Tuna steak with grilled pineapple and jasmine rice with a wasabi honey sauce that could have been drunk. My honey got a steak that was cooked just how we like it: RARE. YUM! NOT TOO SALTY. I hate a good piece of meat that is ruined by over salting. I loved the layout of the outside eating area with all of the flowers and the super groovy music. They had Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, and Tyler Childers playing over the speakers. It is by far the best dining experience I've had in a long time. I usually end up regretting going out and wish I had just cooked at home instead of wasting my money on restaurant food. They get a 100% approval rating for atmosphere, taste, and service! Who knew such a gem was waiting on an out of the blue Louisiana adventure!?“

We will definitely try some different options next time we are in the area. The AC wasn't working good which was disappointing after riding on the back of motorcycle for a few hours in 90° weather.“

“Im still going to give a 5 star because the Pitt has been my #1 breakfast/3am spot for 20 years but you almost can't even eat between 7am-10am since they zone away with the window blinds. Not at the window tables for sure. Hope they fix this soon, im sure its affecting tips too.“
