“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“

I’ve driven past this unassuming deli countless times, never giving it a second glance. But today, I decided to stop in around 8:45 AM, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The breakfast I ordered was not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying.

The price point is comparable to McDonald's, but the quality and portion sizes are on another level. I was thrilled to see they offer breakfast burritos and pancakes, which I’m definitely trying on my next visit. If you’re looking for a tasty, affordable breakfast spot, don’t sleep on this hidden gem!“

“Delicious steaks done exactly as we ordered. Pricey but worth it for the food. Just be sure your are not seated near the serving kitchen because there is a lot of foot traffic and you will see the staff eating and drinking (as they should be allowed to). For some this may be bothersome. For us it meant our server was nearby.“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“My first time here at J.Alexander's. So worth the trip from Lafayette. My entire meal has been remarkable. I ordered the red wine blend Parradoxx, which had a slight Pinot Nior flavor to it. I ordered a house salad with Blue Cheese dressing which was rich and full of woodsy flavors. My salad was a big hit with me. Vegetables were crisp and served with beautiful presentation. I ordered the Filet with Berinaise sauce and baked potatoe. It was cooked so perfectly that it was truly a work of art. For dessert I got the chocolate cake. I am not usually a chocolate fan at all but this did not disappoint!! The rich cocoa blended perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Now for the service... my waiter, Ali, was so good. His knowledge of the menu was very good, but his quiet professionalism was undeniable. He checked all the boxes as to dressings and preparation, but he additionally checked for how and when you wanted everything served. Ali, eyes were constantly scanning to be certain that my meal and needs were being met. Now, I don't know anything about Ali, except that he was young, but he could have been at home in the finest restaurants in Chicago! His attention to detail made my incredible lunch even more spectacular! An incredible meal, prepared exquisitely, with a waiter like Ali! Just absolutely perfect!“

Wish their hours were a bit longer (such as dinner hours) because I really enjoy the food but I'm happy to stop in for lunch every once in awhile.“

“Hannah, and Timothy are by far awesome! There craft, and techniques making drinks are phenomenal! They are also very interactive with their guest! This is a must see place to meet them, and have a good time. For a chilled, laid back place it’s well worth it! The food is pretty good as well! Also Sara, and Delvin are awesome as well! It’s not often that you come across people who do take the time, and dedication to not only provide such great service, but the interaction with the customers/guest is by far great! I truly enjoyed my time at this place located in the hotel! Will definitely come back he the next time I visit for sure!“
