“Don't let this place fool you with outdated interior. It is clean, inviting and absolutely good food. I am not normally a fried chicken guy but this place has it down. The rice dressing or fries or burgers exceed expectations. If I lived closer, there is no doubt I would be 85 pounds heavier. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot. Awesomeness“
“The owner is a wonderful person, and the food was a good price for what you get. All the workers were welcoming and polite. The food was well seasoned, not super hot but not where you cant taste the spice. It's right in the middle, it's perfect. They all range in size, rarely so I ever find a small one. Potatoes were perfect too“

Wasn't packed but kept a steady stream of customers while we ate. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. It's exactly what one would expect from a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. “Pass by this place a lot on 190. Decided to stop this time for an over night. Ate at the restaurant, had Crawfish Etoufee. Yep, definitely making this my Hwy 190 stop. Bathrooms kinda dated, but works just fine. $5.00 showers. Super nice folks.“
“The service was excellent. The waiter was fast to bring waters and our drinks from the bar were very fast and tasty. The food was very good. And it came out fast. I had the Lafitte ribeye. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. The only small negative was the chicken, and sausage gumbo tasted a lot like BBQ suace. Not my favorite.“
“The boiled shrimp dinner was great. A little on the spicy side for me but I still enjoyed it and would order it again. Our server was perfect. Our food came out quick and accurate. Our drinks never ran dry and she checked in on us several times. Her quality customer service was appreciated. The atmosphere of the bar was what I expected. The table was clean. “Hidden gem no doubt, Alonzo kids run the operation mostly, very respectful and extremely nice, knows my wife and I by name, call in advance and have it ready when you drive through, never leave your vehicle, local crawfish, sizes range from medium to extra large, huge flavor, extremely consistent on taste and price, been getting crawfish here for 3 years now, can get it by the pound so not just 3 lbs or 5 lbs, we usually do 6 lbs, extra used for crawfish Etouffee, I actually quit boiling them myself, price is close to equal, no mess, almost no clean up having it done for you, will not be disappointed if you go, not as clean as Hawks in Crowley La. but taste is equal in my opinion 9 miles verses 45 miles, they are also now doing shrimp as well.
