“Always a wonderful experience at CSM! We love introducing our favorite restaurant to our friends and family and they always love it there as much as we do. The pork chop is always wonderful. One of specials was the duck and andouille gumbo which was delicious and loaded with meat. We always have a 5 star experience.“

“There is nothing about this place that I wouldn't give 5 stars. I came here with my family on Easter. I got the Cornell Sanders chicken sandwich and I was blown away. I don't remember what my family go but we were amazed by the quality and flavor of our meals. When my family tried the chicken on my sandwich, my grandfather got up and found our waitress to order one before they closed to take home to Lake Charles. We chatted with the staff and they were absolutely lovely. The service was unmatched and so welcoming. There weren't a lot of people when we got there but that's understandable considering it's Easter. So I can't speak on when it's busy but the atmosphere was so amazing. The music was classic. The part we sat in had windows and so much natural light. We got dessert and I can't understate how PHENOMENAL the creme brulee was. We had such an amazing visit and will definitely be coming here again!Thank you guys so much!!“

“Tonight was the second time dining at Cafe Josephine's. As a delectable repeat the crab egg rolls were ordered. The crab meat tonight was not spoiled but far from fresh tasting. Did eat almost half trying to convince otherwise. On another note, the waitstaff both times were service oriented and accommodating, thank youVegetarian options: an adjacent diner had macaroni and cheese while I had the roasted brussels sprouts“

“This small place has a homey, neighborhood kind of vibe with some beautiful art on the walls. I arrived on a Friday @ 6PM and found the place almost full. After ordering and paying at the counter, I found a table in the corner and waited for my food. The food took almost an hour but was worth the wait. The fried frog legs were perfectly cooked and the onion rings were fabulous. Both would have been a bit better with a touch more seasoning but there were no leftovers on my plate. The side salad was run of the mill lettuce, diced tomato, shredded carrot, a few pieces of cucumber, but no croutons, and the small amount of dressing was barely adequate. Additional staff could probably resolve the few flaws, but the food was good enough to warrant my continued patronage.“

“I fell in love with this place. It has a bar and a main restaurant. Bar TVs play sports and it’s awesome. I love the decor and ambiance! I had amberjack (blackened) and it was awesome. I am hoping to have a chance to go back one more time before I leave Lafayette . French 77 is a spin on French 75 and definitely a delicious adult beverage.Parking: Parking right outside of the building. Easy!“

“Great crawfish in a setting you can't forget. This is a funky dive when you look at it, but it's all about the food. And they excel at that. Huge crawfish, well spiced and hot out of the boil pot. Ordered the 1# of crayfish and a beer. With the bread pudding dessert shared with my wife, it was the right amount of food. Bread pudding was very good-dense with nice amount of sweetness. My wife had the shrimp salad which is grilled shrimp on lettuce. There was a good amount of shrimp and filled her up. Service was good from Megan and if ever back in Breaux Bridge will be back.“

“*Still love this place. I eat from or at Le Cafe at least twice a month. Catfish is still all you can eat if you can find a seat. And its still my favorite catfish . *Le Cafe has a tiny seating area, however the food is nearly amazing, if you like downhome fried food. The portions are huge, the fried catfish is seemingly endless...if you get all you can eat...“

“I like the store but my friend was behind someone at the food counter and they served them but didn't come help my friend. It's like they just were to busy to help. We were only ones in the business n there were 2 people standing behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. I won't even stop at that Go Bears again. I might stop at the one across the street like I usually do, maybe! ?“

“The food is great here. Mahi Mahi a la Marina is fresh, light, and SO flavorful. The Alex burrito is huge, dense, and the meat was excellent. Staff is always super friendly and attentive. I would not advise seating under a speaker if you want to hold a conversation though. Music was nice, and gave atmosphere, but a little loud.“

“Great home town spot with classic Cajun food, a perfect spot for lunch and helps support the local market. The service was quick, the food was good and the venue has room to facilitate the average crowd. They run lunch specials and you can also order off the normal menu. Prices are very reasonable!“

“Went for dinner with family while visiting from out of town. Everything was decent but nothing to boast about. One of the reasons we went was so we could have alligator bites, which were surprisingly difficult to find in the area. But the bites were just ok, on par with everything else. (I recommend Prejean's for that instead.) Service was friendly, food was fine, restaurant was clean but kept pretty chilly, like they're used to having to blast the AC, but it was actually cold outside so it was more annoying than refreshing to be cold inside.“

“They have the best Fried Chicken around. Most people think it's a Chinese shack. Chinese food 2 stars. Fried Chicken 5 stars. The shrimp poboy is two full meals and really good. You will not be disappointed. Service is slow, but I want my food hot.“

“We were passing by on a road trip on I-10 and was craving crawfish. The place was easy to get to, is spacious and was very accommodating to our large party of 12 people. Kids had a good time and we were pleased with the quality of the crawfish (medium size) and boiled shrimp, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The breaded eggplant appetizer was good as well. We’ll definitely stop by again if we pass by!“

“The food was good, and when I ordered fried pickles, they brought out all of them. Clearly, all of the fried pickles were on my appetizer plate from the kitchen. It was fantastic. I can't even remember what I ate after that, but I know it was also good.“

“Started buying crawfish/shrimp from here when they were on Verot. Now I have to drive further to get to Carencro but I won't buy them from anywhere else. The flavor and spice are the best and I'm hooked! The crawfish/shrimp combo is my go-to.Kid-friendliness: They have a few kids' options.“

“All the meals that I've had at this small restaurant have been quite tasty, but I especially enjoyed the fried chicken. But though the food is good, the kind, friendly service is as good or even better. My parents and I truly enjoy eating here.“
