“This has been my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood so far. We ordered the combination pizza, chicken Alfredo, and the colossal cookie with ice cream.

The combination pizza was outstanding. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the sausage was especially flavorful. What really stood out was the red sauce—it was one of the better pizza sauces I've had across the United States. It was well seasoned with plenty of flavor instead of tasting like plain marinara, and there was a subtle spice to it that both my wife and I really enjoyed. We ended up finishing the whole pizza.

My only criticism of the pizza was the crust. Like a few other places I've tried recently, it was softer and doughier than I prefer. I tend to like a little crispness on the bottom, but that's a personal preference.

The chicken Alfredo was also excellent. The pasta was cooked well, and the sauce had great flavor. My only wish was that there had been a little more Alfredo sauce.

For dessert, we shared the colossal cookie with ice cream. The top was a bit overdone and had a slightly burnt flavor, but somehow the cookie was still soft, warm, and crumbly inside. Even with the over-browned top, it was a delicious way to end the meal.

The service really completed the experience. Our waitress was friendly, personable, and made us feel welcome. The restaurant had the atmosphere of a neighborhood spot where the staff knows their regulars, and that made the meal even more enjoyable.

“Cava is a great place to eat for a fast chain restaurant. The salads are amazing with a great variety option. I personally love the honey harissa chicken and the braised lamb salad bowls. Every time I go here the employees are helpful if I have any questions and provide excellent service. I have been eating at this Cava for over a year and has always had great experiences! “Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

“I haven't been to this restaurant since before Hurricane Katrina. And of course Katrina destroyed so much of the New Orleans area. The restaurant was closed for quite some time after, however they've since added more space and created a beautiful atmosphere. They've added a beautiful bar in the back with great art works through out the restaurant and of course family photographs dating back to it's inception. They even have fantastic family photographs of the late 1,800's!!! Our waiter, Kevin, was very attentive and professional!“

“I am from California and I have been to cava before. But this location is probably the best I have been too. Very clean, fast and efficient. What makes this different is that southern hospitality! “We eat at Olive Garden restaurants frequently. The food was superb and even though it was a Friday evening the wait was minimal. Parking however was a trial. You can park in a large open lot across the driveway, so that’s a good option.

“The most kind and attentive staff! We called ahead to see if it was hard to get a table of six and they told us it was not and to come on in. We showed up an hour later and they saved us a table. The food was authentic, fresh, hot and delicious. Our table had the lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs, Mr Ed’s special poboy and the stuffed seafood bell pepper. What was even better than the food were the people who owned/ran it. We didn’t realize they closed at 2 for lunch but they never made us feel uncomfortable at all. They were absolutely fantastic from the second we walked in to the moment we left. I felt like I was back home for lunch today. This is by far the best pizza we have found in the south. “I went with a large party with limited time. I called the day before and asked if we put our order in ahead of time if it could be ready for when we got there. Josey said it wouldn’t be a problem and just call with the order. I placed our order a couple hours later and she ensured everything would be ready. We walked in,our reserved table was waiting with all our food (still hot) and drinks. Ever single order was correct and the food was delicious. Since each meal was a separate check, Josey had the bills all ready next to each plate and it also helped us identify what each meal was. “This is a tiny little restaurant tucked away on Maple. Although small, the food is absolutely amazing. This was my first time and I can not believe I didnt know about it until now. We got the chicken fresh rolls and the shumai to start. Both were absolutely amazing. I got the Thai Sweet and Sour lunch special and it was perfect. Not a strong flavored dish which makes it even better. I will definitely be returning to try the other dishes.“

“Chef Trevor is the kindest! The sushi is Amazing! I recently visited The restaurant for dinner after a long day of school my grandkids. And work myself. We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. “They recently renovated and rebranded as "The Cafe on 11". Wow, such an improvement! It's very modern, bright and open now. Food is really great for the price. They have a rotating menu and different soups daily. There's order-ahead options through their app and take-out. Really convenient for any one working in the Pan-Am building or nearby office towers. Oh, and they have great hot breakfast too!“
