“this is my reason for living. so good. so fresh. so subway. i’m here at least once a week. makes me feel safe. loved. happy. no other subway can do what this subway can do. it is unmatched. i’d give 6 stars if i could. i will rave about this place until the day i die. staff so good. a bunch of emo high schoolers who make me feel healthy about my garlic herb and cheese bread choices. always a 12 inch. size DOES matter. i love you subway. i’d sleep with you.

I told staff I hadn’t been so didn’t know what I’d want and they made very very good suggestions and were so friendly about it. 10/10 will be back when I’m in a town that has a store. “Fast & friendly service. The food is delicious!! We have gone through the drive-through once a week for the last four weeks, and now weekly have to have our chicken salad chick fix. The Pimento cheese is awesome. Also the chicken salad with the cranberries. The broccoli salad is great, and the grape salad is wonderful. It also feels like a healthy meal. This has quickly become my favorite place.“

“I came in for an Engineer Sub and left wondering if I should nominate this place for some kind of sandwich Hall of Fame. The turkey was smoky and flavorful, the cheese melted like it was auditioning for a food commercial, and the mushrooms? Let’s just say they were sautéed to “chef’s kiss” perfection.

The staff didn’t just take my order — they made me feel welcome the second I walked in. They were upbeat, quick, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell they work like a well-oiled (and well-fed) machine.

If you’ve never been, run — don’t walk — and prepare to be ruined for all other sub shops. Gonzales Firehouse Subs is the real MVP.“

“I went today to pick up an order for my kids. Then decided to order additional sandwiches. My order was ready when I got there. Ziggy promptly took care of me to make the other sandwiches. Ziggy was very friendly and did a great job preparing my sandwiches. The place is very clean and some renovations are being done. The customer service is great and the food is fresh. I love the new management. They are definitely making a difference.“
