We've rounded up Saint Martinville's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“We saw the Berea pizza on Facebook and had to try it. It was great lots of meat and chezze goodness with a side of elote we ate well. Everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. I would recommend this hidden gem over some of the larger places in town.“
“Surprisingly great food! I saw people mention this place and their birria tacos on FB so we decided to give it a try. Man I'm glad we did! My girlfriend and I both said these were some of the best birria tacos we had ever had. We also got my daughter some take out and for a simple rice/chicken/cheese dish it was very good. It's also very affordable with food for 4 coming in under $100 with tip. I would highly recommend La Fiesta to anyone looking for a birria fix.“
“This little gem has a pretty good steak quesadilla and the green salsa they serve with it is delicious. But for $7 they should put a little lettuce and tomato on the side or something. Also, they need those pickled peppered jalapeño/carrots. That’s what makes they meal exceptional for me.“
“Since they moved to their new location in front of Super Walmart on Admiral Doyle New iberia, the food is half of what it used to be at the old location. Opened my quesadilla to find only small pieces of shredded chicken. And the sides we're very little to add to the quesadilla. Very disappointed.Parking: Lots of parking compared to the old location“
“There was one employee waiting on everyone including at the bar. She did a great job. I'm picky and my order was to the T! The only thing was that our beans didn't have any flavor. Food came out in a great amount of time and our drinks kept coming. Thanks to our waitress/only employee, besides for the kitchen staff and our lady that brought us chips, you were great!“
“Great lunch the carne asada tacos had a great char on the steak topped with cilantro and onion's with the green salsa. Perfect spice level for me. The pork was diced small but not overcooked it was juicy and well seasoned. The shrimp Diablo could have been spicer for me but it was medium spice level. Rice was ok. But the beans were really dry. Like the we're straight out of the can nothing added.“
“La Hacienda is a “go-to” for us. Conveniently located, great food, good service..except for last night. Our waiter/server(who barely spoke English) got all of our orders correct for 10 people (four different tickets). IMPRESSIVE!When it came down to payment, each parties ticket was wrong, which isn’t unheard of when there are numerous parties; no one party was upset. We then took it upon ourselves to review the tickets and “fix” it for the staff when returning to them. A DIFFERENT STAFF MEMBER reviewed and redistributed tickets again incorrectly. One party tried helping the staff and she rudely stated “I don’t need your help, but tell me what you ordered!” Restated parties ordered and ONCE again, tickets were incorrectly given. Same staff member was very rude to each party and she almost had FOUR unpaid tickets. If she would have accepted help from the customer, it all would have been resolved efficiently. This issue will not keep us from returning to restaurant, but hopefully this makes it to the right person and staff is trained properly about issues.“

“Nice little food truck. The food is good and filling. The beef burrito is huge!! I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. They should put a sign out with their name and number because I wanted to order in advance. I had to find out where they were located by word of mouth from a coworker. There's nothing on the food truck to identify their business. Not sure if they have a fb page. But they need more of a presence. The food truck was located in the parking lot of another business on Center Street. The young lady got my order wrong but it was ok because my coworker ate it the way it was fixed. I think it was a language barrier misunderstanding. No biggie. Overall a good spot for a quick lunch. The burrito was $13 and was worth it.“
“Pops, We ate Tonight! Your Company was better than the FOOD. Thank you.Dietary restrictions: He ate "SHRIMP", Bell Peppers and Onions, Beans, Salad,Parking: Located near a hotel/motel. Plenty of Empty Spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are WIDE“
“This place has a huge menu with excellent food. Everything is fresh and well prepared and they have very generous portions. The staff is friendly and service is great. 2 for 1 margaritas and they don't water them down to make up the cost.“
