“Just like most fast food places Wendy's has no consistency for their food service. You are waiting in a line for 30 minutes. Thinking your order is fresh and hot off the grill, but this experience showed me. The order taker is not listening to your request throughly. I ordered a 4 for $4 meal, with a small vanilla and chocolate swirl frosted. I got a Frostburg with chocolate on the bottom and vanilla on top. I ordered a fruit punch and received a Strawberry Fanta. My food was cold and I tossed it. I find that nothing has gotten better with ordering from here. I am not going back to this location anymore. Good bye fast food.“

“My family and I visited relatives in Luling, LA, and found this little gem! Black owned, professional service with great food! Owner Jae is amazing! Customer service is top notch and it’s so appreciated! We wanted a home cooked meal as we were so tired of the regular restaurant food from on the road traveling! Everything was really good! We had baked chicken, baked fish, smothered pork chops, delicious green beans, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and only God knows what else!😍“

“Everyone has heard the phrase… “Do not judge a book by its cover. Well, I almost did. When you go to Tavern on Vets, the outside makes you a little skeptical. Windows blacked out, not sure which door to use. You walk in and it is kind of dark. But, then you sit down. You then see, etched in the mirror, “A Loser Friendly Atmosphere”. I could not help but laugh. The service was fantastic. The bartender was friendly like someone you knew your whole life. The food, oh man the food. For a small bar kitchen, the food was cooked with such flavor and presentation. Now, there was one small error made on my wife’s wrap but it was quickly taken care of without complaint. We are only here for the week, we just might go back and read that book again.“

“Food was beyond perfect. Service was excellent. Owner Ben is an amazing man with a great establishment and recipe, family owned and operated. I tried the Big Ben burger and was beyond satisfied. The chili fries were an amazing touch, and the Fries Sauce was fantastic on the monstrous burger. The bacon slices and patty meat were each grilled to perfection. The fries were the perfect balance of crispy, thin, and chewable; absolutely beyond fantastic on that part. The chicken nuggets were quality over quantity, which is something that is VERY important. We mentioned it was our first time there, and we were given a nice surprise: a paper boat full of their famous Funnel Cake Fries! These were absolutely delicious, and a very welcoming bonus for an already great first-impression of the restaurant. I would like to additionally add that sometimes food from a restaurant or takeout place will make me feel awful or that greasy-feeling inside your intestines after digestion. This place I still feel great after eating the food, and I don’t feel that awful after-effect. That’s how you know the food is made with LOVE and not all of the processed garbages that most would prefer to use. Ben’s stands out from the rest. I drove all the way from Houma, LA just to try the burger, and let me just say that the trip was BEYOND worth it. Ben’s Burgers are a true treat and a hole-in-the wall experience. I don’t feel the purpose of the app is to increase business. It is to save customers time and provide a convenience. So either allow it or don’t have it.“

“So overall I love the food here. Never had a problem until today (unfortunately today was the wrong day to set me off). There are 2 condiments/toppings I can not stand and will ruin anything I eat because you can’t just wipe it off and that Sour cream and MUSTARD!!!!! I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. “A great place, with great people, caring about their locals is something I witnessed a couple weeks ago. They allowed for a fundraiser to be set up for a patron dealing with a bout of cancer. It was a wonderful time and that speaks volumes about this establishment. More places should take note of this place and it's employees and owners. They give clearly give back what they put in when it comes to work, dedication, and drive.“

“Tre Von was really patient with me. This was my first time here. Online I didn't read it was associated with Dickey's. Upon entering the building I saw a sign on the door and was a bit confused. Tre Von welcomed me and explained the different companies Dickey's own. The food was ok. I was expecting a burger on the lines of Company burger which is the best burger. However it wasn't. Although, I'm not a fan of the food I appreciated the customer service!“

“Order food but was told after sitting for over 30 minutes that it got lost in the kitchen...smh...asked for my check and told them forget. The manager came over and was very nice. He fixed the issue and we received our food in a timely matter. The person waiting on us was new and the manager took full responsibility. The waiter was nice, but I could tell he was new. After that I provided grace to the new employee and still gave him a decent tip. Thanks
