“Food was beyond perfect. Service was excellent. Owner Ben is an amazing man with a great establishment and recipe, family owned and operated. I tried the Big Ben burger and was beyond satisfied. The chili fries were an amazing touch, and the Fries Sauce was fantastic on the monstrous burger. The bacon slices and patty meat were each grilled to perfection. The fries were the perfect balance of crispy, thin, and chewable; absolutely beyond fantastic on that part. The chicken nuggets were quality over quantity, which is something that is VERY important. We mentioned it was our first time there, and we were given a nice surprise: a paper boat full of their famous Funnel Cake Fries! These were absolutely delicious, and a very welcoming bonus for an already great first-impression of the restaurant. I would like to additionally add that sometimes food from a restaurant or takeout place will make me feel awful or that greasy-feeling inside your intestines after digestion. This place I still feel great after eating the food, and I don’t feel that awful after-effect. That’s how you know the food is made with LOVE and not all of the processed garbages that most would prefer to use. Ben’s stands out from the rest. I drove all the way from Houma, LA just to try the burger, and let me just say that the trip was BEYOND worth it. Ben’s Burgers are a true treat and a hole-in-the wall experience. I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. And it wasn’t a little mustard. The bun was SOAKED with it. Call them and wanted me to come back in so they could remake it while the rest of my family’s can eat theirs. “Tre Von was really patient with me. This was my first time here. Online I didn't read it was associated with Dickey's. Upon entering the building I saw a sign on the door and was a bit confused. Tre Von welcomed me and explained the different companies Dickey's own. The food was ok. I was expecting a burger on the lines of Company burger which is the best burger. However it wasn't. Although, I'm not a fan of the food I appreciated the customer service!“

“Order food but was told after sitting for over 30 minutes that it got lost in the kitchen...smh...asked for my check and told them forget. The manager came over and was very nice. He fixed the issue and we received our food in a timely matter. The person waiting on us was new and the manager took full responsibility. The waiter was nice, but I could tell he was new. After that I provided grace to the new employee and still gave him a decent tip. Thanks

“I didn't go in the restaurant only the truck stop but if the restaurant is a thing like I seen and experienced then it would be fabulous. First truck stop that I didn't feel taken advantage of. 2 all beef hot dogs that are bigger then the bun and a 44 Oz soda just over 5 bucks you can't beat that other place be like 7 to 8 unless they have a special.

“Today was excellent and should be complimented by all. Went to the restaurant to grab lunch. Ordered using the mi ole app. I thought what I ordered came with drinks I asked the gentleman in the window about my drinks. He told me I didn't order drinks with that code. He was right. But while I was searching the app;; he offered me small complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. Wow!!!! Afterwards my food came back made incorrectly. I proceeded to walk in the restaurant to address the mistake. The general manager was cleaning a window while the crew was busy with customers. One of the grill workers saw me with the sandwich and immediately acknowledged me. There was no fight or fuss....they simply wanted to make it right. And they did. As they were remaking my sandwich; I notice something I hadn't seen in years.......every one of the workers( young BLACK MEN, was in complete uniform with their shirts tucked in and belts. Their attitudes were phenomenal. The service was great and they deserve to be recognized. Mistakes are inevitable. I don't have an issue with their mistake... AT ALL! It was the way the handled me after I brought the mistake to their attention. They made it right..IMMEDIATELY! Without question. And the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing! “Every time we visit the New Orleans area, we look for a new restaurant to try apart from the same old "tourist" places. We happened upon Freakshake Cafe tonight. The Muffaletta and Po' Boys were delicious (especially the Italian Beef) and the portion sizes are HUGE (Get the small, trust me!) We even treated ourselves to some Freakshakes. (If you're into over the top dessert experiences, this is definitely for you.) Chef Bob is so friendly and personable. He made sure that every step of our dining experience exceeded our expectations. We look forward to coming back and visiting again!“
