“Wow! Wow! Chef Jason Seither hit the flavors out of the park. So much food goodness. Our meal for 5 of us started with the Kung Fu Tuna, which is a Hooked up salad of seared tuna, avocado,snow crab salad with sriracha & Asian sauce, served with tortillas, so freaking good. I crave this now that I am back home in North Dakota. I have had crawfish in étouffée. I have also had a shrimp boil but learned hot to eat boiled crawfish here. Dari our server is helpful in showing how to eat the crawfish along with our Louisiana host, Charlene. You twist the head, squeeze and suck the fat and juice out. You can also squeeze this on the potatoes. I dipped my crawfish body in melted butter, because why not? They are like tiny lobsters. We were not done we also shared the Monster, a fried oyster po boy. Oh my it is so yummy, crispy breading with a tender oyster wrapped inside. The bun that encased this good is warm and taste’s like mom’s homemade bread. Because we were not stuffed full enough, we shared the deep fried Mardi Gras bread pudding, a sweet delight. Fantastic fun atmosphere, custom crawfish wall paper by Jon Sherman of Flavor paper. I loved it. The staff is so friendly, fun and attentive. Such a great dining experience. “I usually get the jerk chicken lunch plate with one side and substitute cabbage for the rice and peas. Yesterday, I wanted to try something different for a change. I could not decide between the jerk ribs and curry goat so I opted for both with the 2 Meat combo. I wasn’t disappointed. Both were very good, and I packed up my curry goat for the next day. The two ribs bones were full of meat and huge. I’m pleased that I was able to get two meals out of this order. The young lady who takes my orders is always pleasant, patient, and professional when I go there.“

“My wife and I stayed at Ormond Manor last week for 5 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The overall property and the Manor are stunning. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was beautifully appointed and had plenty of space for us. Communication with Boyd the Operations Manager was courteous and professional. The included breakfast was so delicious and a wonderful way to start our day - everything on the menu was great. Brad and Aaliyah both provided outstanding service during breakfast. Unfortunately our schedule did not allow us to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner - but that gives us yet another reason to go back :-) I also liked the historical references around the property and in the Manor itself giving some insight into the history of the Manor and general area. Overall a clean and well-kept historical gem that gave us a quiet and relaxing stay.

Just to summarize:

=> Beautiful room and property
=> Delicious breakfast at the restaurant

“Gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful and professional. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up just over 10 minutes later and the food was delicious. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy and the bread was super fresh, the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, nice size and well portioned. I also ordered a side of fries and they were plentiful, crispy and well seasoned. Highly recommend. Great neighborhood spot!“

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure“
