“We randomly decided to come here and we have been incredibly pleased with our experience. Prices, portions, and flavor are top notch. Once your food is brought out, which never takes very long, the waitresses don't linger and irritate you while your trying to eat. But, they very frequently ask if you need anything and if everything is ok. This place has very quickly become our Sunday lunch stop!!“

“Food wasnt bad, For some reason the ticket said do not make on my sons food. And we literally didnt get it when our food came out. We had to wait for our waitress so we could stop her and ask where his chicken tenders and fries were. Mid day they also ran out of sweet tea so my fiance had to get a different drink than what he was drinking. Which isnt a big issue. More so about my sons food not coming out with ours or at all if we didnt ask for it. Place was nice and clean tho. Plenty of seating options as well. Probably wont come back there though. But dont let it stop you if you wanna try them out!“

“This place is amazing. Food and service are equally amazing. My wife and I camp in Meadville (we live in the Baton Rouge area) twice a year to getaway and drive 45 minutes out of our way just to go to Fat Mama's. They never disappoint.“

“Our grandkids favorite place to eat. Our waitress 37 Katya N was great! Enjoyed Queso dip and salsa while waiting on order. When served I didn’t receive my order of Jamaican Beans. Assured it would be coming soon with a n apology. Food came later and was delicious. Chicken was moist and tender.When handed the bill my husband eas assured the 4% Credit Card fee would not be charged since I paid with cash and would be removed at register. I took her word and did not check receipt. My dissapointed as we traveled out of town the Credit Card charge was on our receipt! I don’t know how many times this has happened but the person at the register needs to know it should not go on receipt if paying.“

“Staff always friendly and food is fast and correct all the time. The only thing I don't like is the private school kids gathering in the parking lot after school events on Friday night. You cannot get in or out the parking lot.

Parking: Try to steer clear Friday nights during football season...tons of crazy kids in parking lot.“
