I will say Billy’s is a must stop even if not staying in the area. We brought a bunch home. Used the leftover crawfish boudin from the night before with scrambled eggs the next morning! It’s my new favorite breakfast item now!”

“This is a precious downtown spot for coffee! I popped in while in the area for work and was delighted. The two employees were super friendly and helpfully had a turkey and provolone croissant and it was so fresh and delicious. I wish I lived closer. I pass through here on I-49 regularly and this may be a new detour when I need a pick-me-up in my drive!”

Lots of shrimp on the po'boy and the chicken was perfect”

“About a year ago I had to come through for my grandmother's funeral and as we were leaving town we were starving. We walked in right as they were closing and while they had every right to refuse they stayed open just a little longer for my wife and I get to a shrimp poboy so we could eat before we got back on the road. It was the absolute best shrimp poboy I've ever eaten. I've chasing that dragon ever since. You owe it to yourself to eat here.”

The chicken cracklins were warm with a light crisp, the boudin was meaty with good flavor, the fried ribs are always our favorite to chew on, the meat pie (meat) is really good and the crawfish pie is my hubby's favorite. Outside, the fuel pumps are roomy and easy to operate. The diesel pumps on the side are very convenient for my hubby's dually. The staff has been really nice and Mr. Hebert is always accommodating if something is needed. Overall, we give it a great review and we're excited they have come to Jennings to open their business”

You know it’s good when they got special days and hours for service! lol I only ate the food I didn’t go in to get in. The town is historical and the business had character and looked to be there for a long time; which is great in my book. It’s a nice small town and the food was spicy, delicious, and smoky bbq! The people were nice and friendly too.”

“I had some of the best crawfish I’ve ever had here at Papa’s! We visited from Houston, my uncle from Opelousas sent us here. The owner Lanny was so nice and so was the other guy who was serving the crawfish. This crawfish was soooo flavorful! The spice level was PERFECT! The sauce was delicious and was a perfect dip for the crawfish. I would 10/10 recommend this place to everyone! We will definitely be back next time we’re in LA!”

“First time visiting today, 7/10/23 and so glad we did! I had the Tony Chachere on Focaccia an d my sister hand the Marilyn Monroe. We both loved them! I’ve never had Focaccia bread so soft and delicious before. It was very hard to choose from all the wonderful sandwiches and I’d definitely go back again next time I come back home to Louisiana for visit.”
