The atmosphere reminds me of a small burger joint down in lake Arthur la called pappys when you walk through the door the atmosphere tells you that you’re about to have a great meal I have tried most things on the menu the pivot was ok the hotdogs are great but the real hidden gem is that burger I’m from down south so I hold food especially burgers to a high standard and these guys get pretty close to the big dog burger places back home they are so good I really wouldn’t mind having one for lunch every day that I work in this area the flavor is there the presentation with the wrapping of news paper is a great touch you can tell his employees put their soul into it I met the owner outside he was super friendly and professional , great experience over all Do yourself a favor and let these guys make you lunch it’s worth every penny”

“We had the best experience. We ordered the Pho and 2 Vietnamese coffees- The Hanoian and The Tiramisu. Kate came out and showed us how it was traditionally eaten. She explained how the bone broth was made, without any short cuts. It was delicious. It was money well spent. We will be returning.”

“The classic beignets were so good even my fiancé from Baton Rouge liked them. The ham and cheese beignet was also very good. I could tell they made it, along with everything else, to order. I also got an iced caramel cafe au lait, much more delicious when I was expecting. Though I like the taste of caramel, sometimes it can be too much or give me a headache but this place has it down perfectly. It honestly tasted like the caramel flavoring in the drink was made from scratch bc I could taste elements of butter.
The service was also very friendly, welcoming, and attentive.”

“We had such a great experience! We were driving through town and wanted to grab a good quick seafood lunch, we’re so glad we found this! Adorable restaurant inside and out. We were immediately greeted and the entire staff was so friendly throughout our lunch. We were surprised with hot hush puppies as a complimentary starter! The shrimp poboys were so fresh and came on perfectly soft and toasted French bread. My only disappointment was I couldn’t finish my food! Family owned and clearly well taken care of. There’s also a drive thru option, but if you ever get the chance to stop by here you shouldn’t pass it up!”

The temptation to go more times during the week was high. If you find yourself there in the summer, get the strawberry and peach swirl, thank me later. I can't stop thinking about it. “The food was excellent 100%, it’s just the price needs to be modified to be a little cheaper and more cost-efficient to the everyday worker, the drinks was very nice, the atmosphere is wonderful, the music was great, the trivia nights are awesome and extremely fun for family and friends to come and enjoy yourself, the pool table was in a very excellent condition and worked very well, the bathrooms was very clean and upkeep. The bar area was very clean and upkeep and the hold restaurant and bar was very clean up kept out of my whole experience. I will give it a 10 out of 10 ask for pricewise. I will give it a 9 out of 10.(I only asked if y’all would modify our prices a little bit to make them a little lower.)”

“Me and my family eat here often. My sister and I go here for our sis dates. She gets a Snow White roll and I get the Snow ball. We also get pork gyoza and the baked oysters. “I haven't been here in more than 5 years due to several bad experiences, however, on Christmas night, there weren't many options for supper and I was items to complete any quick meals. My son and I decided to visit IHOP instead of the overcrowded Waffle House across the street. First, the hostess was nice and seated us quickly. Most important part of our visit, the waitress was absolutely Wonderful!!! She was very attentive and pre-apologetic, as anticipation of delays from the kitchen due to the number of people in the restaurant. The food arrived hot and tasty, as expected, since there was a little bit of a wait. The only complaint I could say about this visit, the kitchen/floor manager (I'm guessing) came out and she was snippy with the hostess and her demeanor was a bit rude with the staff. But, let's face it, it was Christmas night and I'm sure none of them wanted to work the shift. EVEN THOUGH that is part of working in the food service industry.”

I watched that crew work as a team. My sandwich and my sister’s sandwich was great. Made fresh and fresh fries. I also seen Ellie working the whole time. I just want to tell you is was a pleasant experience at this location. Those people deserve a raise just because of the people service skills. Crappy place kids running threw the aisles while others licking their fingers while they are filling up there plate or takeout Styrofoam container. Makes your stomach turn. Clean up your parking lot. Dirty Diapers all around. Trashy Place. How many illegals you have working there? Since no one speaks English”

“I have nothing to say about the service or menu items, but since I have been more than ignored by the new owner Bobby Mounts I am having to leave a review to get attention on this. I used to work here and have recently left because of the new ownership. I worked almost 20hrs under the new ownership before I left as well as some of my coworkers. I haven't been paid the money he owes me which is around $200 for the two days I worked and its frustrating because I have a life and bills and a mortgage to be paid and this has put me out in a situation where im struggling to pay bills. Yes I know $200 is very little to business owners since they make well over that and most likely consider it pocket change. I am the only one that has not been paid by Bobby Mounts and I have contacted corporate and him several times and have been ignored by him. This feels like a personal attack and I cant help but feel like its because im of a minority race and defended myself when he claimed we served spoiled food and drinks before he bought the store and talked down on our previous manager and owner. I just need my check and it shouldn't be this hard to get the money I worked for. I loved working at this store for the past 2years and meeting all of the customers who became a part of our everyday lives.”

“Its a good place to go when you or the wife doesnt know what they want to eat. Or are with your elders. Food is hot. Salad bar has a great selection. If you have young kids they will love the variety of foods from pizza to spaghetti to chicken tenders and fries. Not to mention all the deserts and ice creams. If you are trying to eat healthy, there is always baked fish, baked chicken, steaks, steamed fresh vegetables and a whole lot more.”
