“We randomly stopped in for a beer after a few hours riding. Everyone, I mean everyone was so social, glad we stopped by as we're not from the area. Invited us back. A very welcoming experience. My motorcycle got lots of compliments.”

“I wanted something Louisiana for lunch, and their menu looked like what I had in mind, so I stopped in for lunch. The place is immaculate with a golf course for the view! Georgia was the sweetest server I could have hoped for, very patient and helpful with deciding my perfect lunch of blackened redfish with crabmeat sauce, asparagus and dirty rice. It was all cooked to perfection and delicious! The bartender Jacie was equally impressive, making the most delicious bloody Mary with all the trimmings, and an amazing Moscow Mule! I'm a bartender by profession, so when I call out mixology skill, it's someone who's truly over and above expectation. I can't wait to return, and recommend The Max as an outstanding experience, start to finish.”

“Great atmosphere and love the bartenders. Never any drama so it's the best place to chill and enjoy a nice cold beer with your friends. Saturdays is free pool so we definitely enjoy a night out shooting pool when we can. This place is for everyone and it's a great place to listen to music and spend time with people your bring or people you meet because they have some awesome people always sitting at the bar.”

“Positive-The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. We been here twice recently. We stayed in a King room and a King Balcony Room. Both rooms were very nice. Plenty of parking. Parking lot in front of hotel and a parking garage behind the hotel. Valet parking is an option if you want to pay. Couple of restaurants Brew Brothers and Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse. Didn’t eat at Gordon Ramsey’s but we ate breakfast then dinner at Brew Brothers. Descent food nothing to write home about. Brew Brothers is on the Casino Floor so no kids allowed. Better options downtown Lake Charles. Dunkin Donuts in the Casino good breakfast option reasonably priced. Casino is great for couples for a getaway. Excellent customer service from all Casino employees the times I’ve visited. Negative-This is NOT a kid friendly or family oriented hotel. NOTHING for kids to do. Pool is 21 and up ONLY!!! If you have kids a better option to stay would be L’Auberge or Golden Nugget. Brew Brothers Restaurant is on the Casino Floor NOT a family restaurant. There are 2 sets of doors in the parking garage one that says “Casino” and the other “Hotel”. Plenty of parking however, you cannot park and carry your luggage across the Casino floor. Have to use the “Hotel” entrance in the garage. It is a long walk to the to the front desk. Have to go to the second level to access hotel rooms then use the elevator there to go to the main floor to check in and access the rest of the hotel. My overall rating would be about 3 1/2 stars.”

“The night / every early morning staff on the weekends, Miss D, Miss S, and a young man were working there this morning and they were not only kind to myself but also the other people in the establishment. The food was fresh, delicious and hot and the conversation was extremely comforting after a long night. Thank you ladies”

Too small, and attached to a gas station on the side, so I'm not sure what I would have accomplished by trying to make a morning of my visit and just sit there and be uncomfortable with the over visited , fast pace lifestyle of the whole thing but everyone is nice and friendly service is abundant here,at least the time of day I frequent that establishment of”

“I would like to say that today I had one of the best experiences I have EVER HAD at ANY MCDONALDS I have ever ordered from. On 3/29/24 at 9:44am I arrived to the drive through to pick up a mobile order located at 1603 Sampson St. Westlake, Louisiana 70669, As I waited to be serviced the young lady that came across the loudspeaker caught me by surprise (in a good way ), her voice was so clear, her tone was so comforting and her Mannerisms and words were so impressive, I HAD TO ASK HER NAME!!! This young ladys name was Jamia (I hope I spelled her name right) she was just as Pleasant in person as she was behind the speaker. This young lady is a GEM! She has the whole package when it comes to Professionalism and Customer Service. (I been doing this for 30yrs, | Know) Jamia deserves attention and recognition for what she brings to the JOB. She is a prime example of what this WORLD NEEDS !! Kindness, Compassion, Professionalism, Patience and above all, a SMILE that you can see and hear through the Speaker !! I hope that the Management and Co-works of this establishment see and understand what they have and Nurture her to become the BEST Version of herself!!! I know Jamia will go far in life and I hope that one day I will be able to hear, if not see her wonderful achievement that life has to offer her.
