“My girlfriends and I stopped into this little diner on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious (classic comfort food done right!) Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and our meals came out surprisingly fast. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier!! They treated us like regulars from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the heart and pride they put into their place. Definitely one of those hidden gems that makes you wish every restaurant still had this kind of charm and hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“We stopped while on vacation to grab a couple of cupcakes. We are from the south, and are honestly used to sickeningly sweet cupcakes that you have to scrape most of the icing off to eat the cupcake… These cupcakes were delicious! The frosting was light and fluffy and the cupcake was light and sweetened just right. Such a pleasant surprise! I would rate this one of the very best cupcakes I’ve ever had! Just delicious! My kids enjoyed the cake pop and the sugar cookies as well! Thank you for a delightful dessert after eating at the Blue Collar Lobster next door! (Which was also delicious!)“

“As the inventor of the fried clam, this place destroyed almost all other places that sell fried clams.
The fried clams that I had here yesterday were the best that I ever had! The slaw was good too.
This place is huge and is able to handle large crowds.
There are two separate lines/counters for beverages vs food. There are free drink refills on the fountain drinks.
The staff here does a great job.
I am thankful that I learned of this place and was able to go here.
They offer ice cream, but it is seasonal.
I really do need to reassess my prior fried clam restaurant choices…

“The prices are high so that’s always a struggle when choosing to eat here. But the burgers and fries are delicious so we chalk it up to it’s a vacation treat once a year. The seating and indoor space is really tight. Which can be quite difficult when waiting for your food or finding seating to eat, especially when they’re busy.
Better value would be if they included fries with the burgers and hot dogs.

The music was a fun vibe, bathroom is clean, and the staff are kind and working as fast as they can.

I did a build a burger (butter, cheese, caramelized onion spread, 1 patty), which came out to $10.50. Adding a second patty would be another $5 (no thanks). My gf did a little sister which was $15 (I think most of their premade 2 patty burgers are). That’s sit down restaurant prices where fries are usually included. With the order of fries our meal was $32.64 with tax.

I also recommend hitting up the ice cream shop next door selling Giffords!“
