It has been a year since I’ve been here and I came back today for brunch and I’m pleased to say that my experience was not good, it was outstanding. The food was tremendous, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and under control, and it was really great to observe the productive flow of the team members & management, and the satisfaction of every other customer in the establishment during my time in Johnny’s. For a popular local establishment that serves a diverse variety of communities and college students, I couldn’t have been more impressed. I would recommend Johnny’s Roadside Diner to anyone who is looking for high quality customer service, excellent food, and a great experience with friends and family. “We were coming from thr airport and needed to catch a quick bite. I found out about this place a few years ago, but we never had a chance to go. I ended up getting the Santa Fe salad and a cup of chili because it was a chili kind of day. It had good flavor, but it had green peppers in it. Not a fan. The salad was good sized, so I ended up leaving with a box. My husband had the nachos. I tasted a little of the port, which wasn't bad. The portion was huge and he was loving the Carolina sauce, but there's a self-serve station so you can try them all. And they had to-go boxes handy, so you didn't have to ask the staff. Although they were quite friendly. Nice display of desserts next to the counter, but we did not partake this time. Lots of parking and some booth seating with a rustic interior.“

“Of my favorite spots in Amherst is Lili's it is a quick bus ride away from UMASS and it is worth the trip! Two of my favorite dishes are the stewed beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.“

“We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

“I came there with my family. We ordered at the register. You have to get your table and then wait for your food and pick that up and bring it to your table. My sister ordered the pizza a white pie with onions and prosciutto . It was delicious. My sister and I shared a BLT that was loaded with bacon and a big slab a tomato. It was absolutely delicious,The bread was exceptional. My mother ordered a turkey BLT and experienced the same for her sandwich, my father ordered a turkey Reuben and enjoyed every bite. “What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. There are simply no words to do justice to the experience of eating at Bombay Royale and I could not recommend it more highly.“

“My daughter and I had to get dinner and not many places were open on a Monday at 8:30. My daughter found Johnnys and we called to verify we could order and eat there as kitchen closes at 9:00. This was our first time there and it will not be the last time. The waiter was very informative when it came to the food. Told us a lot of the favorites and description of it. We had a hard time deciding and he (Gabriel) brought us a sample of a sauce to taste. Glad he did, it was too spicy for us…. We’re whimps. We ended up ordering the potstickers, sticky ribs and the beef tips with broccoli and garlic noodles. All were outstanding! Yes we brought home left overs (mine were gone when I got home not reheated. OMG!). If you choose not to try them (more for us) but big mistake. It’s our new favorite restaurant and we live at least 30 minutes away.“

“One of the best restaurants in Amherst! My partner and I order from here once or twice a week; the food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. Everything is seasoned perfectly. The all-day combo is so affordable, with a lot of options. We like the General Tso's Chicken, Mapo Tofu, Beef Teriyaki Skewers, Poached Chicken over Rice, and Crab Rangoons, but you can't miss with anything here. Compared to the first catering service we considered, El Rincón immediately stood out. They offered a wider variety of dishes at a more reasonable cost, which mattered to us as we were trying to honor our mom without adding extra stress. The ordering process was smooth, and their team was understanding and respectful of the situation.

On the day of the service, the food arrived warm, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt comforting, exactly what you hope for when bringing people together during a time of grief. “this is one of my favorite places to go for Gluten-free food. I love their East West burrito bowl with extra veggies and my boyfriend always gets the beef brisket burrito with bacon (he adds it.) One time he got the burrito and he realized he didn't like the thick grilled onions in it. I wrote in explaining the onions were cut very thick (I know that writing in to complain is a bit dramatic but I also praised how much we love their food.) well, they edited their online ordering to include an option to select "no onions." we eat there at least once a week because the prices are so reasonable with quality of food top notch. 5 stars!“

“Whatta brunch!!! Arrived just after 11am on a Thursday. Miss Flo was busy but not packed. We took a seat at the counter and were immediately greeted by a friendly server. Pancakes plus and an OcFLOberfest (corn beef hash, sauerkraut & thousand island dressing) omelette arrived quickly. Both were HUGE and GREAT! Ilana and Amanda were fast friendly and slightly sassy servers. The hot sauce was a fun condiment. Everything was clean. Miss Flo has a warm local friendly vibe. She is a Pioneer Valley icon that lives up to her reputation. We need to eat here more than once or twice a year!“
