Suffice to say that the food is delicious and wonderfully affordable (compared to Boston area prices) and the cafe is super cute, and I love escaping campus to spend time here. ❤️“

“The Great Garlic sandwich was delicious! the bread was light and crusty, and it was filled with mouthwatering flavor and textures! The baked goods are also amazing; I had an almond horn dipped in dark chocolate.“

Kid-friendliness: Once some preschoolers walked in, and I saw the kern employees give them all free juice. It was very sweet. (And their teacher a coffee)“
“Spotlessly clean, stocked with standard favorite drinks plus lots unique options too. A varied menu of breakfast and lunch options with fresh ingredients and quick prep. Superbly managed, her music playlist makes for a relaxing background and the cappuccino was just how I like it!“
“I was having a somewhat mediocre experience at the UMass Campus Rec until a strapping young employee named Justin swiped my ucard in order for me to return my rental lock, and told me "Have a nice day" with a smile. His handsome face and perfectly quaffed hair made my day! Five stars for UMass Campus Rec, SIX stars for Justin the employee!“
“They have so much quality food. They pre-made sandwiches, they have grinders, macaroni and cheese, pizza, quesadillas, a cafe. They have soup and a salad bar, they have lovely desserts, too. This is my favorite place to use my dining dollars and it is open late. It's fairly quiet at night and is good for studying. If you live near there they have Grab n Go in the morning, too.“
