“I dont know what kind of dark magic they use, but their dairy and gluten free pumpkin pie is delightful! Even my picky eater kid ate two whole slices. I go at least once a month and stock up on treats which I then freeze to have on hand and its so worth the money and the drive. Thank you, Twist, for having gluten and dairy free treats that are actually good.“

“Great selection and very friendly folks. The pie size may appear a bit small but they are chock full of great toppings unlike many other places that skimp. Also plenty of dairy-free and vegan options available is really great so everyone can enjoy.“

“Harvard Sweet Boutique created a delicious masterpiece seashore theme cake for my dad’s 85th Birthday dinner. I hope there’s a way to upload pictures, because the pictures are beautiful, but don’t even do it justice. Also, there was no sacrificing taste for artwork. The cake was so moist and delicious. “We stopped in today because we were in town for another reason and skeptically asked whether they had anything for vegans (you can't tell quickly from looking at the menu). The kind person behind the counter was genuinely happy to tell us they had great vegan cheese, we should get a pizza - - we did and we LOVED it, just like my favorite NY pizza. The nicest thing was that they really wanted us to be happy, and we were. Thank you, we will make a drive to be back!“

“I visited Silvana bakery looking for Pastel de nata, and calling ahead to inquire, found out they had it there. Upon entering, I was met with a warm and clean bakery, full of many baked goods that looked amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. And the Pastel de nata was perfect. We appreciated the great conversations and lovely pictures taken by Christine Strickland. We started off with delicious soup, followed up by an amazing fresh fruit and spinach salad. Main course surf and turf. I'm a huge steak fan and I can say one of the best I've had in a long time. Extremely tender and flavorful. Following the meal was a delicious cheese and fruit board of a delightful selection. Lastly ended off the night with a delicious chocolate cake. Food was cooked to perfection. Will absolutely be fact in the future. Highly recommend, anyone looking for an intimate and memorable dining experience Chef's Kitchen on Main is the place!“

“We were in search of an upscale pub and chose The Horseshoe Pub won out over our second choice (O'Connors), mainly because it featured 80 beer taps... EIGHTY! \nWe opened our meal, of course, with pints (a wheaty Weis beir for me to followed by a mundane but always tasty Guiness). The for of us shared apps of rueben egg rolls and German pretzels. Two of us ordered the Shepard pie which was tasty but noticably short of the requisite vegetables. One of us enjoyed a very well prepared plate of short ribs over mashed potatoes and fresh steamed veggies. Dark gravy to taste. Rave review for the fall-off -the-bone short ribs. Passed on dessert. \nA very pleasant experience with great service, ample parking, a wide wide variety of food, clean rooms and tables with plenty of space at each and a killer bar separate from the dining spaces. Reasonable value for fare on offer. \nOne caveat with of mention. Three of the four of us ate the rueben egg rolls and had upset stomachs afterwards. They were delicious but disagreed with our normally caste iron tummies. Don't know if it was the egg rolls or the sauce that they came with but they were the only dish we three shared in common. \nThis restaurant worth a visit and especially appropriate for groups of friends looking for a nice night out. \nNot specifically an Irish pub but Slante' anyway!“

“The food was great!! The service, I should say our service was very poor. We waited over 47 minutes before we were served our meals. The problem was not the kitchen because a couple who came in after us was served before us. It was the wait staff.“

“First off we got our chowder before the drinks. The drinks came after the chowder. The server said “they were busy” but that is not an excuse because they are often busy and good restaurants take that into account yet still provide stellar service. Drinks first than appetizers. My salmon was cooked beautifully but the onion strings were too greasy and soggy. My husband's sole was overcooked but he enjoyed his sides. My other dining companions enjoyed the shrimp scampi and sandwich. Overall not 100% satisfied but I would go back again“
