Based on the reviews, 99 Restaurants in Auburn, MA has great food and great service. The waitress was amazing, genuinely kind, and above and beyond. The food was excellent and on time, even with a full restaurant. However, there were some issues. Service was amazing, and when there was a hair in the food, the restaurant comped the dish and gave extra chicken tenders to make it right. Some customers were disappointed in the smothered steak tips, which were not small pieces but 4 pieces of cut up steak. Food portions are also shrinking, with the baked haddock being much smaller than usual. The lunch specials are no longer offered. It was somewhat complicated to accommodate a large wheelchair, but the staff was wonderful and the manager was very helpful. A bunch of kids were horsing around in the men's room and running around the restaurant.
