“St Patrick's Day was not good being outside with good friends for over an hour and a half.Very cold and windy!!! I would have felt better if I knew reservations were taken. When I called 2 days in advance the recording stated that NO RESERVATIONS were being taken for the 16th and 17th. Ok I thought first come first serve. Got there at 12:09 after church. Waited and waited and waited cause I love this place. Only to here party of 5, party of 9, party of 4 etc etc etc etc. The recording should have said reservations for the 17th are full. So we finally get in and the corned beef was one I've never had before. not good and hardly any vegetables. servers were great! Working hard to get food to people.Really if I only knew in advance there was standing room outside only and reservations Were taken in advance I wouldn't have felt so bad. Felt like it was about making money on a holiday not about people. Guy at the door replied only doing what I was told. Really didn't care about people either. Everyone on that line was shocked to hear only reservations were getting in. THEY HEARD THE SAME RECORDING! Not nice. So hope you have a good laugh reading this.Not be back.“
“Went there with family to celebrate Mom's 56th birthday. Started off with bowls and cups of the famous Clam Chowwder. I had the Captain's poutine (fries layered with chowder than topped with fried clam strips) and would highly recommend it. For our entrées we ordered lobster rolls, the captain's platter, and the fried shrimp platter all cooked to crispy perfection. Finally, as a surprise, they sang Happy Birthday to my mother and gave a complimentary Butter Toffee Bunt Cake al a mode. Our server went above and beyond, and he made it an enjoyable experience. We will highly recommend it to anyone who asks and are looking forward to our next visit.“
“Tonight my wife and I had dinner and it was quite a great experience! We were warmly greeted and brought to a cozy, warm and pleasantly lit table. Our waitress Julie was wonderful! I order the scallop special and my wife had the lobster papperdera. The food was top shelf! We split a vanilla, honey and caramel cake with a few espresso martinis. Overall I would rate this a “Best in World Class restaurant”providing the very best service. Having met a dear friend Kathy from the past made the night even better. Highly recommend dining here!“
“Update: Stopped in again early Friday evening and every one of the staff - from the hostess, to our waitress (Maeve) to bus staff (Kelly) - each was even more welcoming and efficient than our last visit! This time we tried traditional food - corned beef sandwich and The Auld Triangle burger. Both were cooked properly and served with French fries. Plenty of good quality food and portions. Music duo (Duel) added a fun vibe. This place is a definite must try for a fun night out for two or a crowd. You won't leave disappointed!“
“So great! Their Butternut Bisque is absolutely the BEST. Never had better. I had the soup (bisque) and sandwich (tuna) and my wife had their fish and chips--we each had a soda. We both enjoyed our meals completely. Our server was great--the perfect amount of attention. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean. The restrooms were clean. There's ample parking. Our bill came to $49. There are TVs throughout the restaurant so there were a variety of mostly sports to watch. And I cannot say enough about the Butternut Bisque--I almost bought some to go too. My only regret...not buying Bisque to go. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.“

“The food came out hot and delicious. I had the Doggie Dip, perfectly cooked roast beef. Daughter had the eggplant parm and the sauce almost tasted how I make it at come.The atmosphere is very relaxing, almost feel like you are home. The service was spot on.“
“Stopped in while on a work trip to Cape Cod. I got the Royal Sirloin at the recommendation of our waitress. It was one of the BEST Sirlions I've had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. Salad was crisp/cold and tasted VERY fresh. Loaded baked potatoe was also delicious. Atmosphere is very nice, not too loud and TVs Everywhere you looked! Not a bad seat in the house. I wish every Bar/Restaurant had the High Top style Booths. They were very comfortable and it's nice being able to look eye to eye with the waitress without having to look up like normal seating/tables.“
“Came for dinner and the food and service were both really good, my only complaint was that it was expensive for the amount of food in the entree. I had stuffed shrimp and it only came with 4. I could have eaten twice that! My husband had fried fish that was very good. We enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was cozy.“
“Had Ali today as our server. Great personality. Very prompt tried the meatloaf, very good, the vegetable medley was delish as were the potatoes. My husband got a steak and cheese sub with fries which he enjoyed. All staff have been nothing but friendly to us. Will go again next trip to the cape“
“This is what constitutes a “dive bar” on Cape Cod. It holds up and the decorations are interesting, especially the decoupaged vintage photos. Definitely not the quintessential dive bar one would look for, but this place holds their own in a tourist area where nothing is really impressive. It’s obviously a hangout for locals and open late with karaoke that attracts a young annoying crowd. As overpriced as all of Cape Cod and comfortable enough, but for sure catering to a young crowd“
