I remember an incredible bean dish, a charred cabbage, and an amazing lamb curry over spaetzle... Add the home made bread and ice cream and a fabulous tomato aspic -- couldn't get a better meal anywhere!“

“we enjoyed our meal here. a very generous piece of steak--which unfortunately had to be sent back initially (i had specifically asked for "very rare," and what i got was medium-to-well. i almost never send back food, but gray meat is not something i want to eat). nevertheless, the second try came back rare(ish), and the salad was quite good. (fortunately, they were gracious about the whole thing.) we were a bit surprised that the very tasty quinoa bowl was so small (like a side, rather than a main dish)--esply at the price. all that said, however, we enjoyed the meal (a beautiful setting!), and would go back again.“
