“The place itself appeared intemded for takeout. This was the tastiest general's chicken I've ever had. The sauce was amazing. I kept dipping for more. Pan fried dumplings were also very good. Portions are large; price was average range, but fair for the portion. Would definitely recommend and while Im local this is my spot.“

“Of my favorite spots in Amherst is Lili's it is a quick bus ride away from UMASS and it is worth the trip! Two of my favorite dishes are the stewed beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.“

“What a fabulous place! We had a tofu skin and wood ear cold plate that was out of this world. It had a very light magical dressing. We also had veggie dumplings that were a meal in themselves, and we had the sesame noodles…also very tasty! It was a symphony of balanced tastes and textures in a lovely atmosphere with a charming server.“

The all-day combo is so affordable, with a lot of options. “I’ve been searching for some good Chinese food lately because I stopped eating it for a while. The places I’ve been to so far have been mid. What caught my attention on this place was that everyone kept saying the rice was brown & not yellow, which is my preference because that’s what I grew up on. I ordered chicken fried rice & chicken and broccoli. I did not order the wings because I saw that they just fry the wings with no flour or anything to make it crispy which is what I prefer. When I got there I ordered a small order of chicken fingers to give them a try. Some places have too much batter and they’re soggy. I’m glad I tried theirs because they were perfect! Golden & crispy! My meal was delicious! I think I might just stick with them for Chinese food!“

“This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. There was a few things that you see on all chinese menu’s but there was quite a few things I’ve never seen before. They had a lot of pictures on the menu so you could see what it looks like. There was a little bit of a language barrier but the food makes up for it. I think they use a lot of seasonings so nothing was really bland. If you’re looking for it, it’s not standalone. It’s in a strip mall. I would go again.“

“I thought whole on the wall but once u walk in lay out very nice and the ladies were supper nice. The food is amazing !! The wonton soup was perfect the dumplings so fresh and soft that they make your eyes roll. Don’t even get me started on The crab Rangoon’s they are so crispy and soft. Everything is fresh and hot the sesame chicken crunchy yet tender, not too heavy perfect and the rice flavorful not dry all in all I would give this place a 20 out of 10.“

“I have been eating at and ordering from Mandarin Wilbraham for 8 years. Every time, inside or at home, the food is fresh, hot and delicious! The staff is friendly and double checks for order correctness and specifics. When I call for take out they ask me if I would like my usual hot sauce. (Who would know that?) My order this evening was delivered and was not my order. They called me immediately and were back at my home in less than 10 minutes, all apologies. When my correct order came, again, piping hot, fresh and delish!! And with a smile. Accolades to your attention, excellent food and true dynamic of serving wonderful food to your neighbors! “I've been to Ginger Garden plenty of times over the years, primarily to eat in the dining room. The food and service is usually pretty good. We stopped in tonight (8/4/26 8PM) for takeout, which isn't really typical for us. We sat at the bar while waiting for the food, and there were two young women working the cash register/bar area. They were absolutely delightful. Just wanted to point out how nice they were. I'm sorry to say that I didn't think to ask for their names.“

Large portion on regular meals.
Good price, when compared to others in area and their portion sizes.

“We dined here recently and the host and servers provided phenomenal service going above and beyond. They were very friendly and polite, as well. Their menu had very vast and diversified meal options. Their food was fantastic and came quickly after ordering. The restaurant was clean and overall dining experience was excellent. “Since the buisness was sold and re-opened with new owners, sorry, but the food has gone down hill, stuff is smaller and overcooked and has no flavor. The fried rice is certainly different and has a diff. taste as well not my liking, i just dont like it & again no flavor and really dry., what a shame.“

“As a Chinese American, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Amherst. The soup dumplings are great, and they have such an extensive and authentic menu. Don't pay attention to all the low ratings if you're looking for real Chinese food. This is not American Chinese food, and I think that confuses a lot of people around here. I love this place!“

“I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s a family-run business, and their dedication truly shows. The food is absolutely amazing, and the entire restaurant is incredibly clean—with the open kitchen layout, you can see everything, and the staff and workspace are always spotless and respectful. I spoke with the owner, and she is wonderful; she even spends their only day off prepping food for the week. She is so committed to her business, and that love and effort completely translate into the quality of the food. I truly appreciate people who care this much about their craft. Highly recommend!“
