“Alvin Rondeau's Dairy Bar has been my favorite ice cream spot since I was a little kid, and it still holds that same magic today. It’s a true hidden gem in Palmer — the kind of place where you can sit down with your neighbors or total strangers and feel like you’re at a family picnic. The owner Mike, genuinely loves what he does and honors his family's legacy with heart and hard work. He takes care of his customers, gives local kids a chance at summer jobs, and keeps the place rooted in community. Great food, good people, and the best ice cream around — it’s everything a hometown spot should be.“

“They have service down here. No matter the line they move everyone along quickly. We went through the line twice today, once for food - burger, hot dogs, and a BLT were all delicious!! - and once for ice cream. It definitely melts fast but everyone was happy with their choices. It is one size only in the flavored soft serves so sharing is easier for littles. So excited we stumbled across this gem for a lazy Sunday as the kids can play out in the field with a variety of climbing structures for entertainment. Highly recommend!“
“There's a reason USA Today rated them one of the best places for ice cream in the country! Their recipes are so creative (and based on real chemistry too). It's like the owners are the Wonka of Ice Cream, always inventing new ways to make the best ice cream. I have been a life long Herrell's ice cream fan, and so glad they are expanding. My mother makes sure to come to Herrell's whenever she visits the area, and says the biggest downside to living in New York is... no Herrell's Ice Cream!“

“I went to Chubby’s earlier this week and got the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was so good I had to go back and get another one today! Did not disappoint. Staff is also friendly and personable. Will be back soon!“
