“The food was okay but the attitude that you get from the owners is horrible The woman who runs the counter has one of the worst attitudes I've ever seen not to mention the fact if you ask her for two half pints a full pint of the red sweet and sour sauce she will hand you a container the size of one of those little duck sauce containers and try to charge you for a full pint she did this to me and my husband several times while we were living in Beverly not to mention the fact they forgot food several times We had to send my husband back to the restaurant to pick up food that they forgot several times“

I drive in and out of Boston 4 days a week and have tried a few other Chinese restaurants of the many I pass on my way home to Gloucester and none have met the quality, price and service that China Wok offers.“

“My husband and I love J&J! We’ve been going faithfully since they opened. They have the best owners, staff, and Chinese/Asian fusion food in the area. Their sushi and drinks are top notch. Most importantly the service is amazing. We got a few trays of food from them too for New Year’s Eve. Not sure if they offer catering all the time but would def suggest not only dining in the restaurant but ordering takeout/catering as well!“

“After having visited several less then satisfactory Chinese food restaurants, my mother and I decided to try the Eighty Eight. The food was delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised. We opted to eat in, which we both enjoyed. It's a great (very clean) place to spend a quiet meal with a friend or loved one. You can stay as long as you want, and the owners/staff were very nice.“

“My go to place for inexpensive, quick chinese food. Unlike other restaurants in the area, they get my online order right 99% of the time, within 15 minutes.

Their chicken fingers are my families favorite, and their French fries are a hidden gem in salem.

Love their vegetable lo mein, though I wish it had more vegetables and ginger, I understand it may not be cost effective for them to add more vegetables like most other Chinese restaurants in the area offer.“

“Never order pick up. We ordered 2 twin lobster one with ginger scallops and the other with black bean sauce. Shrimp fried rice and Chicken wings. The lobster had empty shells mix in the lobster with black bean had nothing but oil in the box the chicken was hard as a rock and I asked for no vegetables in the rice and of course it had vegetables. I decided to go ask them and to my surprise, the manager saw my wallet and kept it for me. They even said had it been they have my mobile number they would have called me the day I left it behind the restaurant. To cut the story short, they showed how business should treat their customer.
