I drive in and out of Boston 4 days a week and have tried a few other Chinese restaurants of the many I pass on my way home to Gloucester and none have met the quality, price and service that China Wok offers.“

“We were pleasantly surprised by our visit. We went years ago and vowed to never go back. Fast forward a few years....
The restaurant was so busy. The wait staff was running around. However, the egg rolls, soft shelled crab and sushi were delicious.
Our waitress was great even though the restaurant was packed.

I ordered delivery and when the driver got here, he immediately asked for a tip, before trying to give me my foodm first of all that is BEYOND RUDE. You dont know if I tipped on card or if I did have cash for you, but just EXPECTING it. No you dont get a tip in my eyes, that is not OK. If you're delivering and all you are expecting is a tip every time, I feel bad because not everyone tips.“

Only issue with the place and believe me you'll learned to ignore them because of how good the food is, sometimes when they say 20 minutes for pick up its more like 45 minutes but that's fine. Their prices seem to be on par with other Chinese food places in the area, in my opinion all Chinese food is over priced but hey can't fault them for wanting to make money. Their food is well worth the price. we spend about $65 every time we go. It's enough food to make 2 adults uncomfortably full with enough left overs to do it again the next day. It's just as good reheated.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid (31 now) and I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed fried rice more. Their boneless spare ribs are amazing, and their wings are phenomenally crispy and tasty. I can’t count how many D2s I’ve had from Honga, and I’ll be having them for years to come.

“Excellent Food!!!! Loved the Chicken Chow Mein. It was packed with fresh white chicken and veggies were perfectly cooked. The Pork Fried Rice was super fresh and had big pieces of fresh pork. The egg roll was huge and not greasy. Delicious!!!!!“

“My go to place for inexpensive, quick chinese food. Unlike other restaurants in the area, they get my online order right 99% of the time, within 15 minutes.

Their chicken fingers are my families favorite, and their French fries are a hidden gem in salem.

Love their vegetable lo mein, though I wish it had more vegetables and ginger, I understand it may not be cost effective for them to add more vegetables like most other Chinese restaurants in the area offer.“

“Go here regularly for lunch. Never had a bad meal. I like the spicy braised beef noodle soup, the sushi is good, excellent hot and sour soup.
If you name a restaurant after food, it better be good. They make excellent dumplings. Soup dumplings are my favorite. I have brought people very knowledgeable about dumplings here and they agree that they are very good. Keep up the good work.“

“Fun local Asian restaurant. We heard of them because a musician friend of ours had a Tuesday night jazz gig there. We sat at the bar, where the service was terrific, but wasn't perfect for watching the band. The menu is pretty extensive, and we had both stir fry and sushi options from the menu. We enjoyed the food, the vibe, and the music! Jazz every Tuesday! We'll definitely be back.“
