“This place has great ambience. We went for their weekend buffet and the food is truly amazing. The best we've had in greater Boston so far. The kathi rolls, rabdi, chicken briyani was delicious. I also love how they post their weekly buffet menu on their Instagram page.“
“It's my go-to place for Indian lunch in Lexington. The Masala is excellent and the Dal and Chickpeas are outstanding.I just had the Lamb Korma, and I despise lamb, but I completely enjoyed this dish.Vegetarian options: They clearly mark what is vegan and not. A vegetarian can easily find what is needed. They also say what is gluten free.Parking: Parking is usually not a major problem, but be prepared to spend a couple of bucks.“
“Amazing food! Service was also great. Ambiance is nice. We ordered 2 Butter Dosa, 1 Masala Dosa, 1 Gunpowder Dosa and 1 Idly Vada Combo. Authentic South Indian food. One of the best places I have tried South Indian food. The Sambhar and chutney taste reminded me of South of India. Recommend this place 100%. Will be visiting again.“
“I order from here for lunch every so often when I’m working from home. Delivery is super fast and my food is still nice and hot. The way they package everything shows they genuinely care that I enjoy my lunch! Everything is always cooked and seasoned very well and their staff is so kind and friendly. Will definitely continue to give them my business and recommend them to others.“
“Had the Mysore dosa tonight, amazing! Crispy exterior, tender filling, and the side of soup and two chutneys made it even better. The title of this listing is food truck, but they are now a restaurant located on Park Street in downtown Andover. If you like Indian food, you should stop by. Take out or dine in.“
“One of the best restaurant I have ever visited after coming to America. Lots of vegetarian option and the food is wow. I have tried everything from the manu over my several visits. Highly recommend to go there.Vegetarian options: American, Chinese, Italian,Indian ,Asian“
“In Massachusetts this is the cleanest restaurant.Specially restrooms, cutlery, dishes are cleaner than all other’s restaurants in Boston area and around. And no doubt about halal option. Some other restaurants I always doubt about halal option.Only one thing I can say there’s portions a bit small.Like in biriyany they give very little portion of meat and some dishe are very little portion. They can increase portions and price“
“Absolutely brilliant service, they were happy to recommend and suggest items and told us about special menu items. I have always loved their sandwiches but today with Egg Volcano biryani and Chicken Keema paav(option available for chapati as well) the raw taste of spices was very strong.“
“This little takeout place tucked into a corner at Hillside Plaza has excellent food. The flavors are there and so delicious. We ordered pani puri, vada pav, dahi papdi chaat, aloo tikki chole chaat, and sugarcane juice. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful.Everything was great. I'm very picky about my pani puri and this was delicious, spicy and tangy. Dahi papdi chaat was perfectly seasoned. Vada pav came with robust chutneys. Aloo tikki chole was again, perfectly seasoned. This is a vegetarian place that also has an "Egg Zone" section on the menu for you eggetarians :)Definitely recommend Bombay Chaat for your chaat needs! Try it!“
“The best! I was originally recommended this place by my neighbor who was born and raised in India and travels back every other month. It is now our go to for Indian. The food is always well spiced, very flavorful, and uniquely comforting. The menu is diverse and there are great vegetarian options. In addition, the owner is SO friendly. I will never forget the first time we came in he was so welcoming to our whole family including my young son, immediately having the bartender make him a mango lassi (which we now always order, haha!).Highly recommend for fantastic Indian food!“
“I live in Boston, but am from Andover. I have yet to find an Indian restaurant in Boston that even comes close to being as great as Raagini. The food is fabulous. The naan is always buttery and pillowy soft. The butter chicken is delicious. The chicken tandoori is unbelievably moist. The thought of their meat samosas is making my mouth water as I type this.“
“We have visited this location quite a few times.Food is above average like we would prefer having more appetizers than main course as it is really worthService: they have a minimal staff however to our surprise they are able to beat the rushAmbience: business is growing however it’s managed in a small space resulting to too much noise from all the visitors. They should think about expanding the unit.Overall if you are missing Indian street food you must visit this placeAverage spending: 30-35$ per personSpice level request: they understand & deliver what you actually need ?“
“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!“
“The BEST Indian food around, by far! The chicken is top quality which is important to me. Chicken Tikki, Aloo Goobi and the Yakisoda are all delicious. Huge portions, you’ll eat for days. The spring rolls and garlic nan are some of the best I’ve had. Favorite part is there the huge variety of food so always something for everyone, even picky kids! We always do take out. Location can be a pain with traffic (I’m over the bridge) but totally worth it.“
“This is a new fast food restaurant for me. I wanted to give it try and ordered the spicy garlic cheese bread and the Bombay sandwich. Both were well prepared and tasted really good. I am really glad that there is really Indian fast food restaurant nearby. I highly recommend giving this place a try.“
“One of my favorite places in Lowell to get amazing vegetarian food. One of the widest selections of vegetarian and vegan pizzas I have ever seen. And if you aren’t vegetarian they have options for you too (of course I stick to the vegetarian menu). And if you like spice I recommend the super spicy menu items. Do not underestimate it, it is powerful.Definitely a great place if you want great food with a friendly atmosphere.“
“My husband and I came to the weekend brunch buffet which is a relatively new offering starting August 2023. I have never really been to the restaurant before as the first year I lived in Lexington I actually thought this was a ceramics studio! We were impressed by the wide range of curries both vegetarian and fish/chicken options. Everything was well seasoned with spices and good quality. A few months ago I had had not so good Indian brunch at a diff establishment and this was far superior in taste and value. Service was attentive and we would definitely return.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. We particularly liked the butternut squash curry and okra curry.Kid-friendliness: While we didn't bring the kids as alas our 3 yr old and 7 yr old don't do well seasoned food, there was ample seating for families“
“We stopped by to have evening chai while traveling from NY. They usually don’t serve tea but they made it for us. They suggested the samosa is fresh so we tried and it was delicious. The best one I have had in USA. Staff was friendly and environment was great. Good for families and friends. Will totally recommend.“
“Amazing food as always because it's our go food when no one wants to cook. The one time they forgot rice I called (because my son eats plain rice as his meal sometimes) and they were here with a large rice in 10min. Thank you guys! You do great.“
“Surprisingly good food. I got the combo with Aloo Mutter and Chicken Curry. The Aloo Mutter was actually solid. Chicken curry was good (not the best just good). The cashier was courteous as well.Overall a good place for Indian food.Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Aloo Mutter was dairy free I think. No allergen info. You need to ask them.Parking: Plenty of spots but they fill very quickly.Kid-friendliness: It’s in a mall so yes, it is kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes; it is wheelchair accessible.“
“Awesome food! We ordered dinner for 2 - five course dinner.Soup, 2 samosas, papad, 2 entrees, rice, naan, chutneys, raita followed by Desserts and Tea. Amazing!!! Great taste of everything. Naan was nicely done and fluffy. Dessert- pistachio kulfi was awesome.Parking: Road side parking which is free!“
“We had ghee roasted chicken (9/10), vegetable korma (6/10 as it was sweet and I don't like sweet meals) and jackfruit kofta (9/10, full marks for presentation). For appetizers, we had paneer bao which I felt was a bit bland (this was my first time having a bao and my taste buds crave for spices when at an Indian eatery). 10/10 for the drinks, they were very thoughtfully crafted. They have recently cut down on their menu items. I felt the options were fewer for entrees.“
“After reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant to come, but I'm so glad I did. One of the reviews complained about the spiciness, which is actually why I came. I have found it is a challenge to find food here in New England that's actually the level of spiciness I order. This place was perfect. The food was amazing, my chicken was perfectly tender and the sauce hit the spot. My naan could have been cooked a bit more, but other than that I was very happy with everything.“
“Google please don’t take this down and other diners please don’t report it because of difference in opinion (freedom of speech, remember) !!Hitting a spot on your tastebuds very differently compared to the run-of-the mill, trying-hard-to-please-a-narrow-American-palate, mediocre self-proclaimed pseudo-Indian restaurants which seem to a norm in the area (I am from out of state), where majority of the dishes all look and taste the same, this place, surprisingly in accordance with the age-old rule of thumb of spotting an authentic ethnic cuisine place, is run by individuals and patronised by diners (on a regular basis) belonging to the same region of India whose cuisine this restaurant carries. Though I know from my travels, that cultures and tastes change every few miles, but this is I feel the closest that it can come to what I had during my stay in Hyderabad. I just wish they made their secret menu part of their official menu and had more South Indian appetizers compared to what they have now. Their food puts one in such a mental bliss, that on a lighter note, I wish they had a hotel or motel or Airbnb attached and provided accommodation for a little seista. Wishing them all the best luck !“
“Holi is one of the best Indian restaurants in this area. The food is fresh, tasty, and served warm. The spice level of Indian food can be tricky, however at Holi, they select spices in such a way that everyone will like it. The customer service was exceptional with lots of attention to details. If you ever visit them, please compliment the North Indian chef and the Manager.“
“Over the last 4-5 years this is consistently hands down the very best Indian food in the Burlington, Woburn, Reading, Wilmington area. The owners are a truly kind, caring, hard working family who put their hearts into creating authentic N Indian food, they are also very conscious of the quality of ingredients (and offered dairy free options and Nut free options consistently but please recheck with them if you order and have allergies). My wife is a Celiac and we were always blown away at how when we communicated the Gluten allergy the couple were...All in all Indian Spice gets my very highest recommendation, as an authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant. P.S. At one point Olive Oil was there cooking Go to, not sure if it is still and they also used biodegradable packaging for takeout!“
