“The BBQ sampler and Brisket plate were both excellent. It took a little while for the food to be served, but very much worth the wait. Both the sampler and the brisket plate offered generous portions, prepared perfectly using quality cuts of meat, with very good rubs and BBQ sauce. The included sides were also very nicely flavored and freshly made. A corn bread muffin accompanied each meal. Our server was attentive, friendly and unrushed while at our table. This was our second visit to Slater's and again we were very pleased with everything.“

“Second visit here with my lady, and somehow we ended up sitting in the same spot as our first visit. The food was just as delicious as we remembered: fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Again, the tea was perfect - smooth, perfectly steeped, and completed the meal.

It is an awesome place to unwind after a morning hike, as it has a calm and inviting atmosphere. You will find the staff to be very courteous without being intrusive. It’s got that small-town comfort with outstanding food. Definitely one of those spots that gets better every time you go.“

“I visited Texas Road House, which I had not for a while because my experience the last time I went through four years ago was not great but going back today with my daughter and grandchild and Cese, our waitress was amazing very attentive very kind and respectful made it fun for my granddaughter great choice and hiring her she’s amazing.“

“We went for Easter with a 2yo and a 6yo and had a good time. The kids were happy and so the adults. As other people commented is not really an egg hunt, because the eggs and colorful ball are all around the garden. But I knew it before going and explained the kids in advance so they weren’t disappointed. You fill the basket with eggs and need to return to exchange for a goodie bag with some candy, Easter chocolates and coloring sheet, stickers, a ring, balloon and a few more things. Not much but really enough. Plus can have an ice cream sandwich! The place is really nice, and there were a few activities to do outdoors plus an indoor room with plenty of toys and bouncy castle. It was overall a fun and lovely experience.“

“We decided to try this place while on vacation in the area. They have vegan options, which is great for my wife and daughter. I got a pepperoni pizza, which was delicious. The dough, which tasted like a fried dough was grilled then baked. The pepperoni was cupped and slightly charred. Delicious. The girls got a veggie burger and tater tots which they both enjoyed. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.“

“Big room with lots of space and greta airflow. Delicious tacos and a good drink selection whether or not you're a beer person. Very good adherence to COVID policy helps the comfort level. Small touches like setting up a baby changing area because the bathrooms don't have changing stations shows they care about their patrons.“

It's always clean inside, well staffed and maintained, very happy plants (that's important), racks of chips and well stocked fridges of a variety of drinks.There is a wide selection of specialty sandwiches, salads, a variety of fresh, ready-to-go hot meals (try the American Chop Suey), and snacks.Their potato salad is the *best* I've had from a sandwich shop in years.They have a rotating selection of specials and unique sandwich combos, and the prices for what you get are very fair.My only critiques of Bushel & Peck are, the spicy mustard they use is overwhelmingly horse-radishy, and the 'breaded chicken' used for a few of the hot sandwiches is just a frozen chicken patty.The meal was still good but it would be better with higher quality chicken. Their cold-cuts and pressed sandwiches are delicious.There are a few tables, so you can eat there if you'd like. I typically walk in & order for take-away, and they're very quick and friendly.Perfect place to stop in for a tasty, fresh and filling lunch.“

One of the best parts is you can order food from Taco Gato next door right from your seat—highly recommend the nachos! The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual night out. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but it’s definitely worth the effort.“

“I am responding to one star rating that was unfairly given by someone who should know the facts before judging others. First I weekly take my cousin who suffers from dementia out of the center were he now lives. Although we may have been loud, there was no intent to upset any other customers. Because of my cousins medical condition he can often act up with gesture and comments that happen with most people suffering from this awful condition. We talk with our other family and friends who were meeting there and again we could be loud at times. My cousin has outburst with foul language, gestures, and is very intense when he is speaking. He was an amazing man before this dreaded mental disease called dementia has changed his beautiful personality. We try to give him care and love by treating him to short trips out of the home. Although it may have been upsetting to you, he was not going after you when he went to the door, he was trying to say sorry after we told him that he had to quiet down because he was upsetting other customers. To that lady please be kind to those suffering from such an efliction, it's very heartbreaking to us and many other families dealing with his horrible disease. Please don't judge so quickly. We saw you in a motherly way and want to wish you the best for you and your baby.“

“The 3 for me deal is awesome.Started off with wings with hot sauce which were perfectly cooked and salsa and chips. We got 6oz sirloin steaks cooked to perfection, awesome loaded potatoes and broccoli which were plentiful and the Cesar salad and clam chowder were great. Had the cheese cake for dessert and it was a large delicious slice with strawberry preserve jam sauce. The place was busy but our waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful.“
