“This is a really nice place in terms of environment, really warm atmosphere, you can feel like you are at your grandma’s house during the winter, that is how I was feeling.
The service is amazing, people working there is so nice, gentle and sweet. The drinks….. the drinks….. wine and beer are 100% local, home made, and those were just amazing. Different wines like red, white and sweet, all great. My concern, the menu. The have a very notable difference between the lunch menu and the dinner menu. Lunch is basically sandwiches, no too many options. Make sure to check the menu before visiting and make sure to go at a time according what you would like to eat.“

“The BBQ sampler and Brisket plate were both excellent. It took a little while for the food to be served, but very much worth the wait. Both the sampler and the brisket plate offered generous portions, prepared perfectly using quality cuts of meat, with very good rubs and BBQ sauce. The included sides were also very nicely flavored and freshly made. A corn bread muffin accompanied each meal. Our server was attentive, friendly and unrushed while at our table. This was our second visit to Slater's and again we were very pleased with everything.“

“Went for first time 3/3/24 and caught the end of the brunch buffet around 4pm. The food was flavorful, fresh, and overall excellent. Something for everyone in that buffet -it's not overly seasoned, and they had several deserts that use natural sweeteners (like dates and figs) with no added sugar. They keep the food areas very well attended and clean. I will be back again and again, what a great find!“

“The other night I several of my dance students went to Welly's. Everyone order different dishes, all were exceptional. Drinks were great. And our waiter was right on the ball, took good care of us. One of the best restaurants around. Outside sitting if you choose. Parking garage close by.“

“We tried Nani’s Pizza for dinner tonight and were pleasantly surprised, the red sauce was delicious! We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza that had lots of flavor and was reasonably priced. We also tried a large steak bomb sub holding the peppers due to a food allergy adoing extra mushrooms. There were no surprise peppers and no need to try to find the mushrooms! We are happy customers and Nani’s will be our new go to for a pizza or a sub in Clinton, MA! The items we tried were excellent as was the value. Our first and surely not our last visit! A very welcome addition to Clinton.“

We ordered the Poutine for an appetizer and my husband ordered The Gatsby burger and I ordered The Phenomenal burger!! Both were outstanding as well as the traditional northeast classic (Poutine). I went with the small size grinder, and without seeing the large side-by-side, I could not have told you what size I received. Half of my sub made for a good leftover lunch the next day. Other members of our party had a chicken gyro, and a salad with tuna. The combination of Greek and Italian items on the menu allowed for substantial choices for everyone. My only quibble was that I did not find ice water available to have with my meal. All the beverage choices seemed to be bottled from a self-service refrigerator case, and single use bottled water is something I will go out of my way to avoid. New London was a pleasant place to eat - they have ample seating to the side of the counter where customers place their orders.“
