Amazing view from the rooftop at the Doubletree, overlooking the Charles River. The music was a bit loud and made conversations a little difficult. Cocktails were fun and delicious. Our server was very good, although I think she had too many tables to serve and was not able to be as attentive. The food was good, but not exceptional. The only thing that was not particularly good was the crab and whipped feta dip. Not visibly appealing and did not taste very good.
My dining experience at Over the Charles was exceptional from beginning to end. The restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere with stunning views that create the perfect setting for a memorable meal. We really liked this place. Super view without the pretentiousness of some other rooftop places. And genuinely good food! Best part? Staff were warm, generous and accommodating.
