I originally wanted to eat at the New American Cafe, but there was a wait since it was the weekend, so I ended up eating at the Garden Cafeteria instead. I got a burger, a salad, and a soda for about $25, which is a great deal. You can choose to eat indoors or out in the garden. I sat indoors this time, but it looked like it would be really nice to eat in the garden. As for the food, the taste was just okay—nothing special, but not bad either.
I’m a pescatarian and had lunch at the Garden Cafe today. The tomato vegetable soup was delicious and the salad bar had a wide selection of very fresh items, from veggies to salmon to rice-filled dolmas! And the prices are a great value. You have the choice of eating indoors (cool in the summer) or in the gorgeous courtyard.
Wonderful salad bar well-priced salmon as well.
