We had the chocolaye crossaint, sliced salmon bagel sandwich and steel cut oatmeal with mixed nuts (oatmeal is reheated in microwave but was still good). “we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“I had the Sukiyaki Udon here and it was absolutely magnificent! The udon's broth was rich and flavorful, and all the ingredients were distinct, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The portion size and price point were both very reasonable, as it’s not “cheap,” but the quality thoroughly justifies the cost.

More than just food, what stood out most to me was the level of hospitality. The servers in this place were passionate and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going well and even refilling my water without me having to ask. It made this whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming.

If I could suggest one thing, I’d love to see a bit more East Asian ambiance, by maybe having some popular background music to match the amazing udons.

Overall, a wonderful experience! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Futago Udon if you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and tasty Japanese dining place in Boston!“

“The cafe sits on Charles St. in a beautiful part of the city. It’s very busy and super small inside. If there’s no available table (you seat yourself), they put your meal in a box… no matter what you order. I ordered a dish that had scrambled eggs, goat cheese, tomatoes, toast. It was absolutely delicious but wasn’t really a to-go type meal. Luckily I found a table on the patio to enjoy my meal. It was right next to a ton of trash cans and the birds were everywhere. It didn’t smell but it was unsightly. I would definitely eat here again, but I might try one of their other several locations to see if the atmosphere is different. It’s hectic and you kind of feel in the way with this one. The coffee is great and the staff was nice.“

“I was visiting Boston for a volleyball tournament and stayed next door for a few days at the Hyatt. I got breakfast, lunch and dinner here for 3 days straight. Everything we had was great-breakfast sandwiches, coffee, grinders, hot bar. All amazing. Would definitely recommend! I’ll be back next time we’re in town!“

“Seriously some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Although Tatte seems always to be exceedingly busy, the line moved quite quickly and we got our drinks with equal speed. I loved the central location and the ample seating. Bathroom code is written on the bathroom doors so good place to stop if you need that.“

“A huge thank you to the High St Tatte Team! In Nov-2024 on a work trip to Boston, I discovered (and fell in love with) their Gingerbread Tile cookies 🎄🎅. I returned this year and although it is early in the season, I placed an order and was determined to take as many Gingerbread Tiles as I could back home! Even though they only had 2 left, they made my day with their sweet note 📝 included in my delivery. Looking forward to my next Boston trip already!!! 🤩“

“This place is busy and a clean table without crumbs is hard to find, but the service is good and the suggestions are on point. The cheesecake I got and the pumpkin latte is delicious. The pistachio latte is good too! Restroom was clean and the atmosphere is really nice. I love that it's a quick walk away from other good restaurants and the school of music- i heard the students playing on the way there.“

I had it for lunch almost every weekday this summer, and somehow never got sick of it. But in terms of smoothies, you cannot go wrong with the Mango Green. Truly a timeless classic.“

“The Tatte in Fenway has a cute, warm interior and a convenient location. It gets very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth it. I loved the lentil soup and the apple crumble cake. It's a great spot for a quick bite or for getting some work or studying done.“
