Lucy and Jane Matcha is a pop‑up with a storefront in the Seaport area right outside Snowport. The store is quite small and cozy, so only a few people can be inside at once, but the service is quick and the drinks come out fast. The menu lists two main matcha varieties, cloud matcha and zesty Jane, as well as hojicha and flavored options such as Ube. The cloud matcha with jane matcha powder is a little sweeter side but has a good ratio, good color and good froth. The unsweet Lucy cloud matcha is classic and has no added sugars. People also enjoy the homemade donuts, fresh baked and filled with choices like cherry. The staff is lovely, friendly and super nice, with top notch attention to detail from the barista. Many say the matcha is the best in Boston, authentic and comparable to Japan. People often want to be returning soon and often.
