I'm a regular at Ripple and usually have a great experience there until today. When I walked in the cashier- Kayla greeting me and told me she could take my order at the front, I said okay. I put my belongings down first so that I could set up for a meeting that I had in a few mins. About 3 mins later Kayla comes by and sternly says to me again, I can take your order up front. My daughter (5 years old) LOVES their chicken patties; she likes to come here during the weekends for them. And I love their veggie patties! This cafe brings the friendly neighborhood-cafe vibe into the Kendall area, which Kendall Square needs pretty badly as far as I'm concerned. They also make a perfect matcha latte--just the way I like it.Kid-friendliness: Yes. My kid and I sat on the couch and played tic-tac-toe one Saturday while she enjoyed her chicken pattie.
