The Cape House Reviews
Had the fish dinner which was good even thought it was pieces of fish & not a full filet or piece of fish. These small pieces were tasty. Portion was large and shareable. Coleslaw needs more flavor but it was crisp and fresh. The clam fritters were the bomb, flavorful and moist. Tartare sauce was a bit too mayonnaisey for my tastes. All together solid option when on route 6a.
The Cape House is great for an ice cream treat! Same quality and flavor I remember from years past. They have kept the high standard of previous restaurant Kates. We will be back for seafood soon. Thank you!
It was okay.

The Cape House in Brewster on Paines Creek Rd, near the beach, is a great, fun, friendly, summer family take out style restaurant for lunch or dinner with picnic tables known for generous portions and the largest ice cream cones. New owners are very creative chefs. The lobster roll was the best, and everything was very delicious. Amazing fish tacos came up quickly with a friendly smile. The Clamcakes were excellent. Great counter service with very good food, kind of place to eat quickly after a long day in the sun. Some found fried clam bellies mediocre with too much heavy breading, though lobster rolls are better quality. Excellent ice cream with generous sizes is available, with a discount for cash.
